Bat Yam
Bat Yam ( he, בַּת יָם or ) is a city located on Israel's Mediterranean Sea coast, on the Central Coastal Plain just south of Tel Aviv. It is part of the Gush Dan metropolitan area and the Tel Aviv District. In 2020, it had a population of 160,000. Hapoel ( he, הפועל, lit. ''the worker'') is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. History During the British Mandate of Palestine period Hapoel had a bitter rivalry with Maccabi and organized its own competitions, with the exception of football, the only sport in which all the organizations played each other. At the time, Hapoel took no part in the ''Eretz Israel Olympic Committee'', which was controlled by Maccabi, and instead sought for international ties with similar workers sports organizations of socialist parties. Felix Naim
Felix Naim ( he, פליקס נעים) is an Israeli former football player and currently the manager of Hapoel Afula. Sports career Naim was a handball player who played for Maccabi Kiryat Motzkin and for the Israel U-18 team. He turned into football when he was 18 years old when he started to play for HaTzair Haifa youth team and then moved to play for the senior side of Maccabi Neve Sha'anan, there he played with Eli Guttman. He moved to France there he played a bit in the fifth tier. From 1997 til 2001 he worked as Guttman's scout, Naim was the one who brought Đovani Roso to play in Israel. Later on Naim stopped working for Guttman and decided to start his career as a manager in clubs from the lower divisions in Israel. The 2014–15 Liga Leumit was the 16th season as second tier since its re-alignment in 1999 and the 73rd season of second-tier football in Israel. A total of sixteen teams are contesting in the league, including eleven sides from the 2013–14 season, the three promoted teams from 2013–14 Liga Alef and the two relegated teams from 2013–14 Israeli Premier League. Changes from 2013–14 season Team changes Maccabi Netanya and Hapoel Petah Tikva, were promoted to the 2014–15 Israeli Premier League. Eyal Lahman ( he, אייל לחמן, born 29 September 1965) is an Israeli football manager. Biography Born in Petah Tikva, Lahman joined the Hapoel Petah Tikva youth system, but left the club at 16 to join Petah Tikva-based Hapoel Mahane Yehuda. He returned to Hapoel Petah Tikva aged 18, but never played for the senior team. In 1983, he was appointed manager of the children's team. He moved to Bnei Yehuda, where he coached the youth team. In 1989, he became youth team coach at Maccabi Petah Tikva. He was given his first full managerial position by Hapoel Mahane Yehuda in 1991. In 1993, he became Beitar Petah Tikva manager, before moving the Hapoel Givat Olga the following year. Liga Bet ( he, ליגה ב', lit. ''League B'') is the fourth tier of the Israeli football league system. It is divided into four regional divisions. History League football started in Israel in 1949–50, a year after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. However, the financial and security crises gripping the young nation caused the 1950–51 season to be abandoned before it had started. When football resumed in 1951–52, the new top division went by the name of Liga Alef with Liga Bet as the second division. The 1952–53 season was also not played, and Liga Bet resumed in 1953–54.
