Felix Naim
Felix Naim ( he, פליקס נעים) is an Israeli former football player and currently the manager of Hapoel Afula. Sports career Naim was a handball player who played for Maccabi Kiryat Motzkin and for the Israel U-18 team. He turned into football when he was 18 years old when he started to play for HaTzair Haifa youth team and then moved to play for the senior side of Maccabi Neve Sha'anan, there he played with Eli Guttman. He moved to France there he played a bit in the fifth tier. From 1997 til 2001 he worked as Guttman's scout, Naim was the one who brought Đovani Roso to play in Israel. Later on Naim stopped working for Guttman and decided to start his career as a manager in clubs from the lower divisions in Israel. Đovani Roso ( it, Giovanni Rosso, he, ג'ובאני רוסו; born 17 November 1972) is a Croatian former association footballer, who holds Israeli permanent residency. Played as a midfielder who preferred to play on the center-right flank of the field. He finished his footballing career at Hajduk Split. Roso is known in Israel for his technique and free kicks. In the media, his name is often italianized to Giovanni Rosso, due to its origins. Early and personal life Roso was born in Split, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia (now in Croatia), in a Catholic family of seven children, whose grandfather was of Italian origin. Hapoel ( he, הפועל, lit. ''the worker'') is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. History During the British Mandate of Palestine period Hapoel had a bitter rivalry with Maccabi and organized its own competitions, with the exception of football, the only sport in which all the organizations played each other. At the time, Hapoel took no part in the ''Eretz Israel Olympic Committee'', which was controlled by Maccabi, and instead sought for international ties with similar workers sports organizations of socialist parties. The 2014–15 Liga Leumit was the 16th season as second tier since its re-alignment in 1999 and the 73rd season of second-tier football in Israel. A total of sixteen teams are contesting in the league, including eleven sides from the 2013–14 season, the three promoted teams from 2013–14 Liga Alef and the two relegated teams from 2013–14 Israeli Premier League.
