The Patna High Court is the High Court of the state of Bihar. It was established on 9 February 1916 and later affiliated under the Government of India Act 1915. The court is based in Patna, the administrative capital of the state of Bihar, India. History of the court A proclamation for setting up the court was issued by the governor-general of India on 22 March 1912. The foundation-stone of the High Court Building was laid on 1 December 1913 by Viceroy and Governor-General of India Sir Charles Hardinge of Penshurst. Work commenced on 1 March 1916. Eco Park, Patna
Rajdhani Vatika, better known as Ecological Park or Eco Park, is a park located at Strand Road in Patna, Bihar. This park was inaugurated in October 2011 by Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, following an initiative of the Department of Environment and Forest, Bihar. The area has 1,445 metres of pathway, a children's corner and 1,191 metre jogging track. It has been developed to ease the load of Patna Zoo. The park is spread over 9.18 hectares of land, including two lakes. Around 90,000 to 100,000 people visit every month. The average daily visitor numbers are between 3,000 and 5,000 on normal days. Bihar Museum is a museum located in Patna. It was partially opened in August 2015. 'The children's museum', the main entrance area, and an orientation theatre were the only parts opened to the public in August 2015. Later, in October 2017 remaining galleries were also opened. Daroga Prasad Rai
Daroga Prasad Rai (2 September 1922 - 15 April 1981) was an Indian politician from the state of Bihar. He was the Chief Minister of Bihar in 1970 for ten months, but Congress was reduced to a minority in December 1970 and Karpoori Thakur became the first socialist Chief Minister for a few months, with Jana Sangh support.
