The Puerto Rico Department of Labor and Human Resources (PRDLHR); is an executive department of the government of Puerto Rico. The DLHR is responsible for setting and implementing public policy in the areas of labor relations, occupational safety, unemployment insurance benefits, re-employment services, and human resources training in the U.S. Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The Senate of Puerto Rico ( es, Senado de Puerto Rico) is the upper house of the Legislative Assembly of Puerto Rico, the territorial legislature of Puerto Rico. The Senate, together with the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico, control the legislative branch of the government of Puerto Rico. The Puerto Rico governmental line of succession defines who may become or act as Governor of Puerto Rico upon the incapacity, death, resignation, or removal from office (by impeachment and subsequent conviction) of a sitting governor or a governor-elect. Miguel Alberto Romero Lugo (born February 17, 1970) is a Puerto Rican lawyer, who is the current Mayor of San Juan. Carlos José Saavedra-Gutiérrez (born July 1, 1986) is a Puerto Rican lawyer and current counsel at Jackson Lewis.
