Scopophobia (DVD)
''Scopophobia'' is a DVD release by rock band Therapy? on Eagle Vision, a subsidiary of Eagle Rock Entertainment, on 27 October 2003. The bulk of the DVD is a full-length, 19-track concert recorded live at the Mandela Hall, Belfast on 6 June 2003. Bonus features include 11 promo video clips, a quick Q&A session with the four band members, and a 30-minute hidden feature following the band on their European tour in May/June 2003 in support of their High Anxiety album. In 2004, Eagle Vision released a two-disc limited edition version of the DVD featuring an audio cd of the concert. Therapy?
Therapy? are a Northern Irish rock band from Larne, formed in 1989 by guitarist-vocalist Andy Cairns and drummer-vocalist Fyfe Ewing. Therapy? recorded their first demo with Cairns filling in on bass guitar. To complete the lineup, the band recruited Larne bassist Michael McKeegan. The band signed with major label A&M Records in 1992, for which they released four albums, most notably ''Troublegum'' in 1994 and ''Infernal Love'' in 1995. Ewing's departure in early 1996 preceded the arrivals of his replacement Graham Hopkins, and Martin McCarrick on cello and guitar. Neil Cooper replaced Hopkins on drums in 2002. Following the departure of McCarrick in 2004, the band have remained a stable three-piece since. Therapy? are currently signed to UK independent label Marshall Records. Neil Cooper (drummer)
Neil Cooper (born 2 April 1971) is an English musician best known as the current drummer of Therapy?, a rock band from Northern Ireland, and formerly of The Beyond, a rock band from England. Career Cooper was a founding member of The Beyond in 1988. The band signed with EMI Records and released two albums, entitled ''Crawl'' and ''Chasm'', the latter being recorded in New York City with Jim Thirlwell. The band toured throughout the UK, Europe and US with Therapy?, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Claytown Troupe and Living Colour. The Beyond disbanded in 1993, after which Cooper joined Cable. The band signed to Infectious Records and Cooper appeared on their debut album ''Downlift the Uptrodden''. He also played on both of their John Peel sessions and toured the UK and Europe with Ash, Girls Against Boys, Boss Hog and Oasis. Stampin' Ground
Stampin' Ground was an English metalcore band from Cheltenham, initially active from 1995 to 2006, and again in 2014. The band has toured with the likes of Anthrax, Chimaira, The Haunted, Agnostic Front, Sick of It All, Soulfly, Arch Enemy, and played the main stage at Download Festival 2003. On 24 February 2014, they were announced to be playing the 2014 UK leg of the Sonisphere festival. They went on to play a string of dates in that year, which would be their last dates for the time being, finishing at Damnation Festival in November of 2014. Pitchshifter (band)
Pitchshifter are an English industrial rock band from Nottingham, formed in 1989. The band was started by lead guitarist and programmer Johnny A. Carter, and bassist and vocalist Mark Clayden. The band’s early material was characterized for its gritty industrial metal sound with downtuned guitars and the use of drum machines, and has been cited as one of the originators of the genre along with Godflesh. With later albums the group's music became increasingly more melodic and strongly influenced by nu metal and drum and bass; particularly evident of their 1998 release ''www.pitchshifter.com'', which has been compared with groups like The Prodigy. Although Pitchshifter has found little mainstream success, the band managed to gain a platinum with the release of the '' Mortal Kombat: Annihilation'' soundtrack. Clutch is an American rock band from Germantown, Maryland. Since its formation in 1991, the band line-up has included Tim Sult (lead guitar), Dan Maines (bass), Jean-Paul Gaster (drums), and Neil Fallon (vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards). Amen is an American punk/metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1994. The band was founded by frontman and singer Casey Chaos and combines elements of punk rock, hardcore, and heavy metal. Backyard Babies are a Swedish rock band originally from Nässjö and currently based in Stockholm. The band was formed in 1989 and over the years they have released seven studio albums and won two Swedish Grammy Awards. They are largely attributed with popularizing sleaze rock in Scandinavia and Sweden. Dregen
Dregen (born Andreas Tyrone Svensson; 12 June 1973) is a Swedish musician best known as the guitarist of The Hellacopters, as well as Backyard Babies. As of March 2014, Dregen has also served as the newest member of Michael Monroe's solo band, replacing Ginger as guitarist. He was formerly married to fellow Swedish singer Pernilla Andersson, who is also the mother of their first child, a son named Sixten. The couple officially announced their separation on 1 June 2015. He is a founding member of Backyard Babies, who he helped form in 1987. The band announced the start of an indefinite hiatus beginning in 2010. Ash are a Northern Irish rock band formed in Downpatrick in 1992 by vocalist and guitarist Tim Wheeler, bassist Mark Hamilton and drummer Rick McMurray. As a three-piece, they released mini-album '' Trailer'' in 1994 and full-length album '' 1977'' in 1996. This 1996 release was named by ''NME'' as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Henry Rollins
Henry Lawrence Garfield (born February 13, 1961), known professionally as Henry Rollins, is an American singer, writer, spoken word artist, actor, and presenter.
