Schøyens Bilcentraler
Nobina Norge AS is a Norwegian bus company, owned by Nobina, that operates in the counties of Vestland, Viken and the cities of Oslo and Tromsø. History It was established in 1921. Its name was Ingeniør M.O. Schøyens Bilcentraler AS, branded Schøyens Bilcentraler. Six routes were established that year, the first being Oslo-Hønefoss and Oslo-Drøbak. Since then the company has expanded within Eastern Norway, and in 1936 the company bought part of Larvik Fredrikshavnferjen, which it sold 50 years later. The company became Norway's largest bus company, but has later been bypassed by other groups due to the restructuring of the bus companies in the 1990s and 2000s. Concordia Bus was founded in 1997, and at first a subsidiary of Schøyens Bilcentraler. The Volvo 8500 was an aluminium body single-deck city/intercity bus manufactured by Volvo between 2001 and 2011. It was available with medium floor as two-axle (B7R, B12M), tri-axle (B12M) and the articulated ''8500A'' (B12MA). Vestby is a municipality in former Akershus now Viken county, Norway. It is part of the Follo traditional region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Vestby. General information Name The municipality (originally the parish) is named after the old ''Vestby'' farm (Old Norse: ''Vestbýr''), since the first church was built here. The first element is ''vestr'' which means "west" and the last element is ''býr'' meaning "farm". Halden (), between 1665 and 1928 known as Fredrikshald, is both a town and a municipality in Viken county, Norway. Sandefjord () is a city and the most populous municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. The municipality of Sandefjord was established on 1 January 1838. is a town and municipality in Vestfold in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway—located along the Oslofjord. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Horten. Opplandstrafikk is the public transport administration for bus transport in Oppland, Norway and is part of the central administration of the Oppland County Municipality. The unit plans, markets and organises the public transport in Oppland, but does not operate any buses itself.
