is a Japanese manga series written by Norimitsu Kaihō and illustrated by Sadoru Chiba. The series was serialized from May 24, 2012 to November 22, 2019 in the Houbunsha's ''Manga Time Kirara Forward'' magazine and is licensed in English by Yen Press. An anime adaptation by Lerche aired between July and September 2015. A live-action film adaptation was released on January 25, 2019. Premise Yuki Takeya is a cheerful school girl who, along with her friends Kurumi Ebisuzawa, Yūri Wakasa, and Miki Naoki, is a member of the . As Yuki seeks out fun school activities every day while living at school, the other girls work to keep her safe, because in reality, they are the sole survivors of their school after a zombie outbreak overruns the city. is a 2019 Japanese horror film. It is an adaptation of the manga series of the same name by Norimitsu Kaihō and Sadoru Chiba. The film was announced in an issue of ''Manga Time Kirara Forward'' in November 2017, and it was released by Universal Pictures and Regents in Japan on January 25, 2019. The film is directed by Issei Shibata and starred the members of the idol group Last Idol. Sentai Filmworks distributed the film in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Nordic countries, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal. Premise It tells the story of Kurumi Ebisuzawa, Yuki Takeya, Yuuri Wakasa and Miki Naoki attending the same high school in Japan, but they also know one another because they reside in the school's dormitory and having a school club. Norimitsu Kaihō
is a Japanese light novel writer and translator. Born in Kanagawa prefecture. He is from Keio University Fantasy Study Group. When he was a college student, he posted a coterie translation of an English tabletop RPG "TORG" supplement to Shinkigensha, which was publishing a translated version of this game at the time, and became a member of the translation team because of his ability. Since then, he has expanded his range of activities to translating American comics and writing novels. Kaiho has had experience teaming up with Kazutaka Kodaka. While the original plot for the anime '' Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School'' was planned by Kodaka, Kaihō was in charge of revising the scripts to adapt them into the anime series.
