Eimsbüttel () is one of the seven boroughs (Bezirke) of Hamburg, Germany. In 2020 the population was 269,118. History On March 1, 2008 Eimsbüttel lost part of its area to the borough Altona where it formed the Sternschanze quarter. Geography In 2006 according to the statistical office of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, the borough Eimsbüttel has a total area of 50.1 km2. Ellerbek is a municipality in the district of Pinneberg in Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. It consists of the two parts, Ellerbek-Dorf (Ellerbek-Village; also called Alt-Ellerbek or Old-Ellerbek) and Neu-Ellerbek. Geography and Traffic Ellerbek borders on Hamburg-Schnelsen and Bönningstedt to the east, Rellingen to the south and west, and Tangstedt to the north. Moorgraben, Mühlenau and Beek flow through the municipality. Beek and Mühlenau were canalised in the 1970s and provided with barrages to regulate the water level.
