Scarlett Nefer Camberos Becerra (born 20 November 2000) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for NWSL club Bay FC. Born and raised in the United States to Mexican parents, she represents the Mexico women's national team. College career Camberos played college soccer for the UC Irvine Anteaters women's soccer team from 2018 to 2021. She scored 13 goals and 7 assists in 22 appearances during her senior-year, including two hat-tricks. Due to her performance during her senior year, Camberos received the Big West Conference Offensive Player of the Year award. Liga MX Femenil
The Liga MX Femenil, officially known as the Liga BBVA MX Femenil for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Mexico. Supervised by the Mexican Football Federation, this professional league has 18 teams, each coinciding with a Liga MX team. Following the same schedule as the men's league, each season has two halves: an Apertura tournament, which takes place from July to December, and a Clausura tournament, which takes place from January to May. The league's first official domestic cup competition took place in May 2017 via the Copa MX Femenil, a now discontinued tournament that was created with the objective of preparing the teams for the inaugural season of the league which began in July 2017. Big West Conference
The Big West Conference (BWC) is an American collegiate athletic conference whose member institutions participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The conference was originally formed on July 1, 1969, as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA), and in 1988 was renamed the Big West Conference. The conference stopped sponsoring college football after the 2000 season. Among the conference's 11 member institutions, 10 are located in California (with 9 located in Southern California alone) and one is located in Hawaii.
