Savoia SC
The Savoia Soccer Club was an Australian association football (soccer) club based in Melbourne during the 1930s.https://digital.library.adelaide.edu.au/dspace/bitstream/2440/85189/8/02whole.pdf The club is believed to have been the first in the state of Victoria to have been founded by Italian migrants. The club is also known to have been one of few sporting organisations to have been dissolved by the state authorities in Australia due to the fact that Fascist Italy was a member of the Axis Powers during World War II, Australia's enemy at the time. The club is believed to have been based at Royal Park in Parkville, and former club members later assisted in the establishment of Victoria's most successful Italian sporting club 'Brunswick Juventus' in 1948. Royal Park, Melbourne
Royal Park is the largest of Melbourne's inner city parks (). It is located north of the Melbourne CBD, in Victoria, Australia, in the suburb of Parkville. Many sporting facilities are provided including the North Park Tennis Club, Royal Park Golf Course, football and soccer ovals, baseball and cricket pitches, State Netball & Hockey Centre, and cycling and walking paths. On the corner of Gatehouse Street and Royal Parade there is a native garden. There are wide vistas of grassland and lightly timbered areas with eucalypts, casuarina, and acacias. The Melbourne City Council administers the park and instituted in 1984 a park management plan. A wetlands area was developed in 2005. The grassy hill between the Royal Children's Hospital and the Native Garden is ideal for kite flying during the day. FC Bulleen Lions is an Australian semi-professional football club based in the Melbourne suburb Bulleen. Founded in 1974 by Melbourne's Italian community, the club currently competes in the National Premier Leagues Victoria 2, the second highest level of Victorian state soccer. Since its inception, the club has been based at David Barro stadium in the Veneto Club when it was both a stand-alone and a merged club. Bulleen has competed at the highest level in two separate stints in 1988–1996 and 2016–2018, where the club were premiers and champions in 1993. Middle Park (also known as the ''South Melbourne Hellas Soccer Stadium'') was a Association football, soccer venue located in Middle Park, Victoria, Australia. Built in 1959, it was used by South Melbourne FC as a home ground from their inception in 1959, as well as by Melbourne Hakoah until their demise in the 1980s.
