Sareng Bou
''Sareng Bou'' is a 1978 Bangladeshi film directed by Abdullah Al Mamun. The story is based on the novel of the same name by Shahidullah Kaiser. The film received critical acclaim, particularly for the performance given by Kabori Sarwar, who won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress. Kabori Sarwar
Sarah Begum Kabori (also Kabori Sarwar; born Mina Pal, 19 July 1950 – 17 April 2021) was a Bangladeshi film actress and politician. Her notable films include ''Sutorang'', ''Sareng Bou'', ''Abhirbhab'', ''Shat Bhai Champa'', ''Sujon Sokhi'' and ''Lalon Fokir''. She received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the film '' Sareng Bou'' (1978) and Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013. Akbar Hossain Pathan (born 18 August 1948), known by the stage name Farooque, is a Bangladeshi actor, politician, businessman, producer, member of parliament and a freedom fighter. Shahidullah Kaiser
Shahidullah Kaiser (16 February 1927 – disappeared 14 December 1971) was a Bangladeshi novelist and writer. He was awarded Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1969, Ekushey Padak in 1983 and Independence Day Award in 1998. Early life and education Kaiser was born in the Mazupur village (in present-day Feni District) as Abu Nayeem Mohammad Shahidullah. Nazmul Huda Bachchu
Nazmul Huda Bachchu (11 July 1938 – 28 June 2017) was a Bangladeshi film and television actor. He won Bangladesh National Film Award. Early life and education From 1938 to 1950 he was in Kolkata with his parents. His father was a doctor at Kolkata Railway Hospital. After partition they moved to East Pakistan (Bangladesh). Bachchu completed his post graduation in political science from the University of Dhaka in 1963. Bachchu began his career in music and became a singer and music director. While he was a student, he served as a singer on the radio. In 1961, he provided vocals for the song "Obhimaan Korona" in the film '' Harano Din'', directed by Mustafizul Haq. Mohammad Abdul Jabbar (10 February 1938 – 30 August 2017) was a Bangladeshi singer. ''"Tumi Ki Dekhechho Kobhu Jiboner Porajoy"'', ''"Salam Salam Hajar Salam"'' and ''" Joy Bangla, Banglar Joy"'' were three of his songs which made it to the top 20 all-time Bangla songs in 2006 survey by the BBC Bangla.
