Sangareddy, is a city and district headquarters of the Sangareddy district in the Indian state of Telangana. It was named after the ruler Sanga, who was the son of Rani Shankaramba, a ruler of Medak district, Medak during the period of Nizams. Heritage Jail Museum
Heritage Jail Museum also known as Jail Museum and Sangareddy District Jail is a 220-year-old colonial-era jail, now converted into a museum. It is located in Sangareddy, Sangareddy district of Indian state Telangana. The jail allows tourists to live a prisoner's life for 24 hours at a price of Rs.500 ($A9.90). The museum displays the paintings and other artifacts related to crime and prison life in India. Aredla Jagadeeshwar Reddy, popularly known as Jagga Reddy, is an Indian politician who is the current Working President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee since 28 June 2021. He is the current Member of Telangana Legislative Assembly for Sangareddy constituency. Political career He started career as a councilor in BJP and then became municipal chairman.
