Sandra Spuzich
Sandra Spuzich (April 3, 1937 – October 6, 2015) was an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Spuzich was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, of Polish, Serbian, Macedonian and Lebanese descent. She was an amateur golfer and elementary school teacher when she decided to turn professional in 1962. Her first win came at the 1966 U.S. Women's Open by one stroke over Carol Mann and two strokes over Mickey Wright. The tournament was held at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota – the first major championship played there. Lori Garbacz (born August 11, 1958) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour for sixteen years. College career From South Bend, Indiana, Garbacz attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, Gainesville, where she played for coach Mimi Ryan's Florida Gators women's golf team in 1977 and 1978. Silvia Bertolaccini (born 30 January 1950) is an Argentina, Argentine professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. Bertolaccini was born in Rafaela, Santa Fe Province, Santa Fe. She won the Argentine and Colombian amateur championships before turning professional and moving to the United States to play on the LPGA Tour in 1975. Kathy Whitworth
Kathrynne Ann Whitworth (September 27, 1939 – December 24, 2022) was an American professional golfer. During her playing career she won 88 LPGA Tour tournaments, more than anyone else on the LPGA or PGA Tours. Whitworth was also a runner-up 93 times, giving her 181 top-two finishes. In 1981, she became the first woman to reach career earnings of $1 million on the LPGA Tour. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Donna Caponi-Byrnes (born January 29, 1945) is an American LPGA Tour professional golfer. She became a member of the tour in 1965 and won four major championships and 24 LPGA Tour career events. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Amateur career Caponi was born in Detroit, Michigan. She started playing golf at the age of 5. She learned golf from her father, Harry, and won the Los Angeles Junior title in 1956. She tied for 21st as an amateur at the 1964 Hillside House Ladies' Open on the LPGA Tour.
