Lori Garbacz
Lori Garbacz (born August 11, 1958) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour for sixteen years. College career From South Bend, Indiana, Garbacz attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, Gainesville, where she played for coach Mimi Ryan's Florida Gators women's golf team in 1977 and 1978. The 1978 team was the runner-up at the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) national championship tournament. Garbacz was recognized as a first-team All-American in 1978. Professional career Garbacz turned professional in 1979, and played on the LPGA Tour until 1995 LPGA Tour, 1995. After taking much of the 1988 LPGA Tour, 1988 season off, her only win on the tour came the next year in 1989 LPGA Tour, 1989 at the Circle K LPGA Tucson Open. The Welch's/Fry's Championship was a golf tournament for professional female golfers that was part of the LPGA Tour from 1981 to 2004. It was played at the Randolph Golf Course in Tucson, Arizona. Nancy Lopez
Nancy Marie Lopez (born January 6, 1957) is an American former professional golfer. She became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1977 and won 48 LPGA Tour events, including three major championships. Amateur career Lopez won the New Mexico Women's Amateur at age 12 in 1969, and the U.S. Girls' Junior in 1972 and 1974, at ages 15 and 17, respectively. Shortly after graduation from Goddard High School in Roswell, she played in the U.S. Women's Open as an amateur, first in 1974 and again in 1975 where she tied for second. As a collegiate freshman in 1976, Lopez was named All-American and Female Athlete of the Year for her play at the University of Tulsa.
