Sanda ( ur, ، ساندہ) is a town in Lahore District near the bank of river Ravi River, Ravi and Islampura (formerly Krishan Nagar, Kirshan Nagar). It is divided into Sanda Kalan and Sanda Khurd. The local government complex is situated in Sanda near the former Firdous cinema. Rajgarh, National town, Sunat Nagar, Hashmi Street and Sham Nagar are all located in the vicinity of Sanda. Sanda Ladoși
Sanda Ladoși (; born 2 January 1970 in Târgu Mureș) is a Romanian singer. As a child, Sanda sang in various choirs and groups. Near the age of 10 she began to study music and learned piano, classical guitar and singing. Since she was born into a family of teachers, she pursued studies in education. However, she gave up her teaching career almost as soon as she graduated from Târgu Mureș. She moved to Bucharest to follow her dream of becoming a professional singer, while also studying law at the city's Titu Maiorescu University. She has performed duets with Romanian stars such as Marcel Pavel, Ștefan Iordache, Ioan Gyuri Pascu, and Aurelian Temișan. She has performed at many concerts across Romania and at a great number of summer festivals abroad. She has released five albums to date and toured worldwide. ''Sanda'' (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki. It has been serialized in Akita Shoten's ''shōnen'' manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Champion'' since July 2021, with its chapters collected in twelve volumes as of January 2024. The story takes place in the future, where the birth rate in Japan has been rapidly declining. The main character, Sanda Kazushige, is found to be the descendant of Santa Claus by his classmate, Shiori Fuyumura. Together, they attempt to find Fuyumura's missing classmate, Ono Ichie. Synopsis Setting The story is set in Japan in 2080. is a 1966 ''kaiju'' film directed by Ishirō Honda, with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya. Referred by film historian Stuart Galbraith IV as a "quasi–sequel" to '' Frankenstein vs. Baragon'', the film was a Japanese-American co-production; it was the third and final collaboration between Toho Co., Ltd and Henry G. Saperstein. The film stars Russ Tamblyn, Kumi Mizuno and Kenji Sahara, with Yû Sekida as Sanda and Haruo Nakajima as Gaira. In the film, scientists investigate the sudden appearance of two giant hairy humanoid monsters that culminates in a battle in Tokyo. The script's final draft was submitted in April 1966. Sandas
Sandas (more commonly spelt as "Sandan") was the Anatolian ( Hittite) lion god during the Classical period. He used to be represented in association with a horned lion, and often resided inside a pyre surmounted by an eagle. Sandan was often associated to the Greek god Herakles, and sometimes to Marduk. In ceremonies, an image of the god was placed inside a pyre and was set on fire. Sandan appears in the coins of the Seleucids, as well as on other coins of Tarsus (Cilicia) during the time of the Roman emperors. Sanda (), formerly Sanshou (), also known as Chinese boxing or Chinese kickboxing, is the official Chinese kickboxing full-contact combat sport. Sanda is a fighting system which was originally developed by the Chinese military based upon the study and practices of traditional kung fu and modern combat fighting techniques; it combines boxing and full-contact kickboxing, which includes close range and rapid successive punches and kicks, with wrestling, takedowns, throws, sweeps, kick catches, and in some competitions, even elbow and knee strikes. As part of the development of sport wushu by the Chinese government, a standard curriculum for Sanda was developed. It is to this standard curriculum that the term ''Wushu Sanda'' is usually applied. Sanda Toma (later Urichianu, born 24 February 1956) is a retired Romanian rower. Competing in single sculls she won the world title in 1979 and 1981 and an Olympic gold medal in 1980. Toma first trained in handball and athletics, winning four junior national titles in throwing events, before changing to rowing. In 1976 she was included to the national team, where she first competed in doubles, together with Olga Homeghi. In 1979 she changed to single sculls. Sanda Stolojan, née Henriette Lucia Sanda Zamfirescu (19 February 1919, Bucharest – 2 August 2005, Paris) was a Romanian poet, translator and writer. She was a dissident and prominent figure of the Romanian anticommunist exile. Life Born and raised in a family of intellectuals and diplomats, she received an elite education in Romania and other European countries. After finishing high school in Paris in 1937, she signed up for studies at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Bucharest. In 1943, she married Vlad Stolojan Filipescu and they attempted to leave communist Romania in 1949, but were arrested and sent imprisoned for the crime of preparation for illegal emigration. In following years, both were convicted of further crimes, eventually losing their home to the authorities. In 1961, Sanda and Vlad Stolojan managed to leave Romania definitively and settled in Paris. Sanda Mallam Oumarou (6 November 1982 – May 2021) was a Cameroonian professional footballer who played as a midfielder for Coton Sport and Egyptian club Al Masry SC. Biography Oumarou first played for Coton Sport FC de Garoua, with whom he reached the final of the 2003 CAF Cup. He played for Egyptian club Al Masry SC between 2005 and 2007. After returning to Coton Sport he helped the club to the final of the 2008 CAF Champions League. He retired from playing in 2012 and became the coach of Cameroonian second-tier side Université FC de Ngaoundéré. He died in May 2021 aged 38 after a long illness.
