Sanaa
Sanaa ( ar, صَنْعَاء, ' , Yemeni Arabic: ; Old South Arabian: 𐩮𐩬𐩲𐩥 ''Ṣnʿw''), also spelled Sana'a or Sana, is the capital and largest city in Yemen and the centre of Sanaa Governorate. The city is not part of the Governorate, but forms the separate administrative district of "ʾAmānat al-ʿĀṣima" (). Under the Yemeni constitution, Sanaa is the capital of the country, although the seat of the Yemeni government moved to Aden, the former capital of South Yemen in the aftermath of the Houthi occupation. Aden was declared as the temporary capital by President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi in March 2015. At an elevation of , Sanaa is one of the highest capital cities in the world and is next to the Sarawat Mountains of Jabal An-Nabi Shu'ayb and Jabal Tiyal, considered to be the highest mountains in the country and amongst the highest in the region. Sanaa Atabrour (born February 28, 1989, in Khouribga) is a Moroccan taekwondo practitioner. Sanaa won the bronze medal in the women's flyweight class at the 2011 World Taekwondo Championships held in Gyeongju. Sanaa qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics after winning the gold medal in the women's 49 kg class at the WTF African Qualification Tournament for the 2012 London Olympic Games held in Cairo. Sanaa McCoy Lathan (born September 19, 1971) is an American actress. She is the daughter of actress Eleanor McCoy and film director Stan Lathan. Sanaa Gamil ( ar, سناء جميل), born Thoraya Youssef Atallah ( ar, ثريا يوسف عطالله) (April 27, 1930 – December 22, 2002), was an Egyptian actress. Born to a Coptic Orthodox family in Minya Governorate, she moved to Cairo to pursue her acting career and changed her name to Sanaa Gamil. One of her most notable roles was ''Nefisah'' in front of Omar Sharif in the movie '' Bidaya wa nihaya'' (''A Beginning and an End'') directed by Salah Abouseif in 1960. The movie was based on a novel with the same name by the Nobel Prize winner Naguib Mahfouz. Sanaa Bhambri ( hi, सना भाम्बरी; born 7 March 1988) is a former professional tennis player from India. Her highest doubles ranking is world No. 298, which she achieved October 2005. She won one $25k doubles event at Lagos, Nigeria in 2005 and competed in three WTA tournament main draws. In her career, Bhambri won two singles titles and twelve doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Sanaa Benhama (born 9 June 1982) is a Paralympic athlete from Morocco competing mainly in category T13 sprint events. She has competed at two Summer Paralympics, most notably at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China where she won three gold medals dominating the sprint field in her class. Personal history Benhama was born in Khemisset, Morocco in 1982. Athletics career Benhama, who trains out of Association Handisport Ennasser in Salé, made her senior debut as a T13 classification athlete at a meet in Rabat in 2008.
