Sanaa Atabrour
Sanaa Atabrour (born February 28, 1989, in Khouribga) is a Moroccan taekwondo practitioner. Sanaa won the bronze medal in the women's flyweight class at the 2011 World Taekwondo Championships held in Gyeongju. Sanaa qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics after winning the gold medal in the women's 49 kg class at the WTF African Qualification Tournament for the 2012 London Olympic Games held in Cairo. She beat Catherine Kang Catherine Seulki Kang (born 25 September 1987) is a South Korean-born naturalized Central African taekwondo practitioner. Khouribga
Khouribga ( ber, ⵅⵯⵔⵉⴱⴳⴰ, xʷribga; ar, خريبڭة, ḵurībga, ) is the capital of Khouribga Province in the Béni Mellal-Khénifra Regions of Morocco, region, Morocco. The women's 49 kg competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held on 8 August, at the ExCeL London. Competition format The main bracket consisted of a single elimination tournament, culminating in the gold medal match. Two bronze medals were awarded at the Taekwondo competitions. A repechage was used to determine the bronze medal winners. Every competitor who lost to one of the two finalists competed in the repechage, another single-elimination competition. Each semifinal loser faced the last remaining repechage competitor from the opposite half of the bracket in a bronze medal match. Catherine Seulki Kang (born 25 September 1987) is a South Korean-born naturalized Central African taekwondo practitioner. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Women's 49 kg event. On 8 August, she was defeated in the preliminary round against Lucija Zaninović of Croatia. Personal life Kang was born in Gunsan, Jeonbuk province and resides at Busan in South Korea. She graduated from Gyeonggi Science High School and Woosuk University. Career While working as Taekwondo instructor in Belgium, Kang decided to switch nationality in 2010 to Central African Republic to try to qualify for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
