Sam Saunders (golfer)
Samuel Palmer Saunders (born July 30, 1987) is an American professional golfer and the grandson of Arnold Palmer. Early years Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Saunders parents are Roy and Amy (Palmer) Saunders; his mother Amy is the younger daughter of Arnold and Winnie Palmer. Saunders attended high school at Trinity Prep in Winter Park. As a senior, he won his second club championship at Bay Hill Club and Lodge by seventeen strokes, which earned him an invitation to the 2006 PGA Tour event hosted by his grandfather. He attended Clemson University in South Carolina, and skipped his senior season to turn pro. Pro career In 2011, he played a total of 13 events – eight on the PGA Tour, with a best finish of 15th at Pebble Beach – and the Nationwide Tour, where he finished tenth in Panama. Pierceson Coody
Pierceson Coody (born January 7, 2000) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour. Career Coody had a successful amateur career and captured the 2019 Trans-Mississippi Amateur and the 2020 Western Amateur. He ascended to the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking in April 2021. Coody attended the University of Texas at Austin between 2018 and 2022, majoring in Corporate Communication. Playing with the Texas Longhorns men's golf team, he earned All-American honors and helped the Longhorns win the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. He lost a playoff for the individual title to Gordon Sargent. Coody topped the PGA Tour University rankings and received a spot on the Korn Ferry Tour. The 2023 Korn Ferry Tour is the 33rd season of the Korn Ferry Tour, the official development tour to the PGA Tour. Changes for 2023 Unlike in previous seasons, the Finals will not have a separate points list; the top 30 point earners through the entire season, including the Finals, will earn PGA Tour cards. A rule change announced in December 2022 allows for Korn Ferry Tour members that qualify for the U.S. Open, then make the 36-hole cut, to earn Korn Ferry Tour points equivalent to FedEx Cup points earned for their finish. Tim Petrovic
Tim Petrovic (born August 16, 1966) is an American professional golfer. He won one PGA Tour event, and has finished runner-up in four senior major golf championships. Early life Petrovic was born in Northampton, Massachusetts. He played college golf for the Hartford Hawks, and was an NCAA Division I All-American selection in 1988. Petrovic was a teammate of future PGA Tour professional Jerry Kelly. He was inducted into University of Hartford's Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995. Professional career Petrovic turned professional in 1988. He joined the Nike Tour (now known as the Korn Ferry Tour) in 1994, and first earned his PGA Tour card in 2002. Emiliano Grillo (; born 14 September 1992) is an Argentine professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He won the 2015 Frys.com Open on the PGA Tour. Alex Čejka
Alexander Čejka (born 2 December 1970) is a Czech-German professional golfer. Čejka was born in Mariánské Lázně, Czechoslovakia. He left the country with his parents as a refugee at the age of nine, eventually settling in Munich, where he lived for many years, becoming a West German citizen. Čejka lives in Las Vegas and also has a home in Prague. Professional career Čejka turned professional in 1989 and played on the European Tour from 1992 to 2002. Puerto Rico Open
The Puerto Rico Open is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour that was first played in 2008. It is the only PGA Tour event ever held in Puerto Rico. The tournament is played at the Coco Beach Golf Course (previously Trump International Golf Club Puerto Rico) which was designed by Tom Kite. From its inception through 2015, it was played in early March as an alternate event to the WGC-Cadillac Championship, but in 2016 it moved to late March, opposite the WGC-Dell Match Play. All four rounds are broadcast on the Golf Channel. The winner of the Puerto Rico Open earns 300 FedEx Cup points and 24 OWGR points, compared to 550 FedEx Cup and 70-80 OWGR points for World Golf Championships.
