2023 Korn Ferry Tour
The 2023 Korn Ferry Tour is the 33rd season of the Korn Ferry Tour, the official development tour to the PGA Tour. Changes for 2023 Unlike in previous seasons, the Finals will not have a separate points list; the top 30 point earners through the entire season, including the Finals, will earn PGA Tour cards. A rule change announced in December 2022 allows for Korn Ferry Tour members that qualify for the U.S. Open, then make the 36-hole cut, to earn Korn Ferry Tour points equivalent to FedEx Cup points earned for their finish. Ben Kohles
Ben Kohles (born February 24, 1990) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour. Career Kohles was born in Dallas, Texas. He played college golf at the University of Virginia where he won five events and was a three-time All-American and twice was ACC Player of the Year. Kohles turned professional in July 2012 and won the first professional event he entered, the Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational on the Web.com Tour. He won in a playoff over Luke Guthrie, with a birdie at the first extra hole to take victory. He was invited to the tournament because of his collegiate All-American status. He became the first player to win on his Web.com Tour debut since 2007 and the thirteenth overall that have achieved the feat; he is also the first without prior professional tournament experience. Adrien Dumont de Chassart (born 1 March 2000) is a Belgian professional golfer. Amateur career When Dumont de Chassart was 15, he finished second in the Orange Bowl tournament in Miami, one of the major tournaments for players of 18 years or under. BMW Charity Pro-Am
The BMW Charity Pro-Am is a golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour. It is currently played at Thornblade Club (host course) in Greer, South Carolina and The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina. From 1992 to 2000, the event was played at Verdae Greens Golf Club in Greenville. When the event changed to a pro-am format in 2001, it moved to The Cliffs in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, using the Valley and Keowee Vineyards courses. The Walnut Cove course was added in 2005. In 2008, the tournament shifted to three different courses: Thornblade Club, Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina and Bright's Creek Golf Club in Mill Spring, North Carolina. Jorge Diogenes Fernández-Valdés (born 6 August 1992) is an Argentine professional golfer who currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour. Scott Gutschewski (born October 1, 1976) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour, where he has won three times. He previously played on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Gutschewski was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He played college golf at both Creighton University and the University of Nebraska and helped lead the Huskers to a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Championships in his senior year (1999).
