Sam Head (born 14 June 1993) is an English professional darts player who plays in British Darts Organisation (BDO) events. Career Head in 2012 almost caused a sensation when he reached the last 16 of the Winmau World Masters his first televised tournament. In the same year he won the British Teenage Open und started to play quite successfully on the PDC Youth Tour. Due to his consistency he managed to qualify for the BDO World Championships 2014 but lost first round to Mike Day from New Zealand. BDO World Championships
The WDF World Darts Championship is a world championship competition in darts, organised by the World Darts Federation. It would previously organised by the British Darts Organisation (BDO), who held it 43 times from 1978 to 2020. The championship was first held at the Heart of the Midlands Nightclub in the English city of Nottingham. The following year it moved to the Jollees Cabaret Club, Stoke, where it stayed until 1985. From 1986 to 2019, it was held at the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, Surrey. In 2020, the tournament was held at Indigo, part of the O2 entertainment district in London. Until the split in darts, it was the only World Darts Championship tournament. Peter Sajwani
Peter Sajwani (born 27 May 1977) is a former Swedish darts player. Sajwani was born in Las Palmas, Spain, to an Indian father and a Swedish mother. Career He won the 2014 Torremolinos Open, beating John Roberts in the final 4–1. In June 2014, he competed in the 2014 PDC World Cup of Darts with his playing partner Magnus Caris; they both lost their singles games in the second round against Scotland's Peter Wright and Robert Thornton to exit the tournament. He qualified for the 2015 BDO World Darts Championship, where he played Sam Head in the Preliminary round, winning 3–0. In the First Round, he played the number one seed James Wilson, winning 3–1. |

John Scott (born 17 February 1981 in Harrow, London) is an English darts player currently playing in World Darts Federation events. His nickname is Gnasher. Career Scott made his major debut at the 2012 UK Open at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton. He lost out 4–2 to Brian Woods in the preliminary round. He qualified via the UK Open Order of Merit in tied 96th place with a total of £600 - winning £200 in three of the eight qualifying events. Scott also qualified for the Austrian Darts Open by defeating Mark Hylton in the qualifying event. He lost 6–5 in the first round of the main event to Denis Ovens. Winmau World Masters
The World Masters is one of the longest-running and most prestigious of the BDO/WDF tournaments, which began in 1974. The tournament is sponsored by darts board manufacturer, Winmau. The World Masters was unusual in darts in that its sets are the best of 3 legs (first to 2) rather than the standard best of 5 legs (first to 3). It was previously the final leg of the BDO's Grand Slam title of televised majors, along with the BDO World Darts Championship, International Darts League and World Darts Trophy, until the latter two tournaments were axed in 2008. The champion is referred to as the World Master. After the collapse of the British Darts Organisation in September 2020, the World Darts Federation announced plans to launch the WDF World Masters.
