''Saksi'' () formerly ''Saksi: GMA Headline Balita'' and ''Saksi: Liga ng Katotohanan'' is a Philippine television news broadcasting show broadcast by GMA Network. Originally anchored by Mike Enriquez and Karen Davila, it premiered on October 2, 1995 on the network's evening line up replacing ''GMA Balita''. Arnold Clavio and Pia Arcangel currently serve as the anchors. Winnie Monsod
Solita “Winnie” Garduño Collás-Monsod, popularly known as Mareng Winnie (born July 29, 1940), is a Filipino broadcaster, host, economist, and columnist. She had been the 5th Director-General of the National Economic and Development Authority and concurrently socio-economic planning secretary of the Philippines from 1986 to 1989. Educated at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, she holds the rank of Professor Emeritus at the University of the Philippines School of Economics. Amado Pineda
Amado Pineda (May 5, 1938 – August 6, 2015) was a Filipino meteorologist who became the first television weather presenter in the Philippines. A meteorologist with the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Pineda worked for GMA Network's news department as the network's first weather presenter for ''News at Seven'' in 1976. He was succeeded in 1996 by Rey Pacheco for ''GMA Balita'' and ''Saksi'' and when ''GMA Headline News'' ended in 1992, Marga Ortigas for ''GMA Network News'' (the first female television weather presenter in the Philippines until 1996). Enhanced Community Quarantine In Luzon
The enhanced community quarantine in Luzon was a series of stay-at-home orders and '' cordon sanitaire'' measures implemented by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) on the island of Luzon and its associated islands. It is part of the COVID-19 community quarantines in the Philippines, a larger scale of COVID-19 containment measures with varying degrees of strictness.
