Sai Van Lake
Sai Van Lake (; pt, Lago Sai Van) is a man-made lake in Sé, Macau. It is one of two man made lakes in Macau. It is located at the southern tip of Macau Peninsula. The lake was once a bay and closed off by infill. Sai Van means ''West Bay''. Sai Van Lake is separated with Nam Van Lake by Avenida Dr Stanley Ho. Sé, Macau
Sé is a southeast Freguesia (Macau), civil parish ( pt, freguesia) in the Macau Peninsula of Macau. It is the second largest peninsular district in Macau after the civil parish of Freguesia de Nossa Senhora de Fátima (Macau), Nossa Senhora de Fátima. The parish area is named for the Igreja da Sé (Macau), Igreja da Sé. This parish was one of five in the former Municipality of Macau, one of Macau's two municipalities that were abolished on 31 December 2001 by Law No. 17/2001, following the 1999 transfer of sovereignty over Macau from Portugal to China. While their administrative functions have since been removed, these parishes are still retained nominally. Its western part is the historic financial center of Macau. Macau Peninsula
The Macau Peninsula is the most populous and historical part of Macau. It has an area of () and is geographically connected to Guangdong Province at the northeast through an isthmus wide. The peninsula, together with downtown Zhuhai, sits on an island separated from the continent by distributaries of the Pearl River. The Border Gate (; pt, Portas do Cerco) was built on the northern isthmus. At the south, the peninsula is connected to Taipa Island by three bridges, the Friendship Bridge (''Ponte de Amizade''); the Macau-Taipa Bridge (''Ponte Governador Nobre de Carvalho''); and the Sai Van Bridge (''Ponte de Sai Van''). Nam Van Lake
The Nam Van Lake (; pt, Lago Nam Van) is a man-made lake in Sé, Macau, Sé, Macau, China. It is one of two man made lakes in Macau. It is located at the southern end of Macau Peninsula. The lake was once part of a bay (Praia Grande (Macau), Praia Grande Bay), created when the causeway (Avenida Dr Sun Yat Sen) partially closed off the bay.
