Sadau Kiatsongrit
Sadau Kiatsongrit (also written as Suadao) otherwise known as Sadau Por.Pisitchet ( th, เสือดาว เกียรติทรงฤทธิ์, เสือดาว ป.พิสิฐเชษฐ์) is a Thai Muay Thai kickboxer who used to fight many foreign kickboxers in K-1 events. Athletic career Sadau ("leopard") is the second fighter after Changpuek Kiatsongrit, which his stable (Kiatsongrit gym) determined to raise up to be a Thai kickboxer in the heaviest weight class that fights with foreign kickboxers in the international level. On April 26, 1992, in a special event of popular promoter Songchai Rattanasuban at Rajpracha Samasai School, Phra Pradaeng, Samut Prakan, at the age of 25, he defeated the Dutch legend Rob Kaman by unanimous decision through a total of five rounds. Muay Thai
Muay Thai ( th, มวยไทย, , ), sometimes referred to as Thai boxing, is a combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the "art of eight limbs", as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees and shins. Muay Thai became widespread internationally in the late 20th to 21st century, when Westernised practitioners from Thailand began competing in kickboxing and mixed-rules matches as well as matches under muay Thai rules around the world. Mike Bernardo
Michael Shawn Bernardo (28 July 1969 – 14 February 2012) was a South African kickboxer and boxer from Cape Town. Bernardo was known as Beru-chan in Japan, where he has taken part in K-1 World GPs since 1994. He holds notable wins over Mirko Cro Cop, Andy Hug, Francisco Filho, Branko Cikatic, Stan Longinidis, Gary Goodridge and three consecutive wins over K-1 legend Peter Aerts. Perry Ubeda
Perry M. Johannes Ubeda (born 15 September 1971) is a Dutch former super middleweight kickboxer. Between 1992 and 2008 he won thirteen titles (national and international) in kickboxing, as well as titles in taekwondo and pro-boxing and he is also a keen Motocross racer. Ubeda is now retired and runs his own gym, Ubeda Gym, in his home town of Nijmegen. Biography and career Ubeda began his career in 1980 and had his first title fight in 1986, losing to Andre Masseurs in their match for the Dutch Youth kickboxing belt. In 1992 he fought Sedou Kiatsongrit for the W.M.T.C (now W.M.C) world title but lost. Curtis Schuster (born December 9, 1968) is an American former Thai boxer. He was a two-time world champion in kickboxing and Muay Thai. Schuster's last fight was in 1998 at the '' K-1 World GP 1998'' in Las Vegas. Career Schuster built up a record of 13-0 with 13 Knockouts. He won the ISKA Super-Heavyweight Muay Thai World title on January 27, 1995, when he knocked out Wade Irwin in the 3rd round.
