Arrigo Sacchi
Arrigo Sacchi (born 1 April 1946) is an Italian former professional football coach. He has twice managed AC Milan (1987–1991, 1996–1997), with great success. He won the Serie A title in his 1987–88 debut season and then dominated European football by winning back to back European Cups in 1989 and 1990. From 1991 to 1996, he was head coach of the Italy national team and led them to the 1994 FIFA World Cup Final, where they lost to Brazil in a penalty shoot-out. Sacchi is regarded as one of the greatest managers of all time and his Milan side (1987–1991) is widely regarded to be one of the greatest club sides to ever play the game, and by some to be the greatest of all time. Andrea Sacchi
Andrea Sacchi (30 November 159921 June 1661) was an Italian painter of High Baroque Classicism, active in Rome. A generation of artists who shared his style of art include the painters Nicolas Poussin and Giovanni Battista Passeri, the sculptors Alessandro Algardi and François Duquesnoy, and the contemporary biographer Giovanni Bellori. Early training Sacchi was born in Rome. His father, Benedetto, was an undistinguished painter. According to the biographer Giovanni Pietro Bellori (who was also a great friend of Sacchi's), Andrea initially entered the studio of Cavalier d'Arpino. These are Bellori's words: Sacchi later entered Francesco Albani's workshop and spent most of his time in Rome where he eventually died. Ada Sacchi Simonetta
Ada Sacchi Simonetta (19 April 187413 January 1944) was an Italian librarian and women's rights activist. During her tenure as the head of the public library and museums in Mantua, she introduced new services and programs to make the library more democratic and reach more people, including Sunday hours, a public card catalog, and hospital libraries for soldiers during World War I. Driven by the difficult economic conditions faced by libraries in Italy, Sacchi founded a national association for library and museum officials, which advocated for library and museum interests in Italy, and eventually became part of the Italian Library Association. Sacchi was also active in the Italian women's rights movement, founding the Mantuan chapter of the Association for the Woman and serving as president of the Italian Federation for Women's Suffrage and Civil and Political Rights. Ettore Sacchi (31 May 1851 – 6 April 1924) was an Italian lawyer and politician. He was one of the founders and main leaders of the Italian Radical Party. Luigi Sacchi (August 4, 1805 – June 22, 1861) was an Italian painter and engraver, but is chiefly notable as an early photographer, active mostly around his native city of Milan.
