SV Seligenporten
SV Seligenporten is a German association football club from Pyrbaum, Bavaria. It is part of a sportsclub established 23 July 1949 which also has departments for handball, Ju-Jitsu, horseback riding, dancing, singing, and women's recreational sport. History The footballers first rose above amateur level in Middle Franconia when they earned promotion to the Landesliga Bayern-Mitte (V) in 2004. The enjoyed a successful 2006–07 campaign that saw them beat '' FC Augsburg II'' 3–0 on their way to a 1–0 win over ''Würzburger FV'' in the final of the Bavarian Cup. This earned the club an appearance in the opening round of the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) where they were eliminated 0–2 by Bundesliga side '' Arminia Bielefeld''. Bayernliga
The Bayernliga (English: Bavarian league) is the highest amateur football league and the second highest football league (under the Regionalliga Bayern) in the state of Bavaria (german: Bayern) and the Bavarian football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. From the 2012–13 season onwards, the league has been divided once more into a northern and a southern division, having previously placed in single division format since 1963. TSV Rain Am Lech
The TSV Rain am Lech is a German association football club from the town of Rain am Lech, Bavaria. The club's most notable achievement has been qualifying for the tier four Regionalliga Bayern in 2012, where it played for two seasons before relegation in 2014. It returned to this league for a single season after a Bayernliga title in 2015. 2009–10 Bayernliga
The 2009–10 season of the Bayernliga, the fifth tier of the German football league system in the state of Bavaria at the time, was the 65th season of the league. Overview The league champions, FC Memmingen, were directly promoted to the Regionalliga Süd. It was Memmingen's first-ever Bayernliga title, won after having played 43 seasons in the league. The bottom four clubs were directly relegated from the league while 15th placed SpVgg Ansbach had to enter the relegation round with the Landesliga runners-up where it ultimately lost to 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 and was relegated. Of the relegated clubs only VfL Frohnlach made an immediate return to the Bayernliga in the following season while SV Memmelsdorf returned to the league in 2012 when it was expanded from one to two divisions. 1. The 2008–09 season of the Bayernliga, the fifth tier of the German football league system in the state of Bavaria at the time, was the 64th season of the league. Overview The league champions, SpVgg Weiden, were directly promoted to the Regionalliga Süd. It was Weiden's third Bayernliga title after 1953–54 and 1964–65 and their first promotion to Regionalliga level since the latter championship took them up for a season in 1965–66. The bottom three clubs were directly relegated from the league while 15th placed SV Seligenporten had to enter the relegation round with the Landesliga runners-up where it successfully defended its league place. The Mittelfranken Cup (German: ''Mittelfränkischer Pokal'') was a domestic cup competition for the Bavarian Bezirk of Middle Franconia (German: ''Mittelfranken''), played until 2009. Modus All senior men's teams from the Middle Franconia region were eligible to compete in the cup, except fully professional sides, meaning clubs in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga. The winner of the Mittelfranken Cup qualified for the Bavarian Cup. 2007 Bavarian Cup
The 2007 Bavarian Cup was the tenth edition of this competition, organised by the Bavarian Football Association (''BFV''), which was started in 1998. It ended with the SV Seligenporten winning the competition. Together with the finalist, Würzburger FV, both clubs were qualified for the DFB Cup 2007-08. The competition is open to all senior men's football teams playing within the Bavarian football league system and the Bavarian clubs in the Regionalliga Süd (III). Rules & History The seven Bezirke in Bavaria each play their own cup competition which in turn used to function as a qualifying to the German Cup (DFB-Pokal).
