SPL Tampereen Piiri
The SPL Tamperen piiri ''(Tampere Football Association)'' is one of the 12 district organisations of the Football Association of Finland. It administers lower tier football in Tampere. Background Suomen Palloliitto Tampereen piiri, commonly referred to as SPL Tamperen piiri or SPL Tampere, is the governing body for football in Tampere. ''Ykkönen'' (Finnish for 'Number One'; sv, Ettan) is the second highest level of the Finnish football league system (after the Veikkausliiga), although it is the highest league managed by the Football Association of Finland. Ilves-Kissat
Tampereen-Viipurin llves-Kissat is a Finnish football club from Tampere. As of 2017 are playing in the Kolmonen league. They play their home matches in the Tammelan Stadion, which was opened in 1931. The name of the club was changed to Viipurin Ilves (‘Lynx of Viipuri’) in 1934, and as a result of the Winter War, the club was relocated in Tampere in 1940. Forssan Jalkapalloklubi (abbreviated FJK) is a football club from Forssa, Finland. The club was formed in 1997 and their home ground is at the Lamminrannan urheilukenttä. Kolmonen
Kolmonen or III divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 104 Finnish football teams. The III divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kolmonen (''Number Three'' in English and ''Trean'' in Swedish). The competition There are 104 clubs in the Kolmonen, divided in 9 groups of 10 to 12 teams each representing a geographical area.
