Rodovia Brigadeiro Faria Lima (official designation SP-326) is a highway in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. SP-326 is a full four-lane highway connecting the cities of Bebedouro and Barretos, serving also the city of Colina, and runs in the Southeast to Northeast direction. It is managed and maintained through a state concession to the private company Tebe and therefore is a toll road. The highway is named in honor of a former Air Force brigadier and celebrated mayor of the city of São Paulo from 1965 to 1969, José Vicente de Faria Lima. The highway system of São Paulo is the largest statewide road transportation system in Brazil, with 34,650 km. It consists of a hugely interconnected network of municipal (11,600 km), state (22,000 km) and federal (1,050 km) roads. More than 90% of the population is within 5 km of a paved road. It has also the largest number of two-, four- and six-lane highways in Latin America. According to the National Confederation of Transports, it is the best highway grid in the country, with 59.4% classified as excellent. Barretos
Barretos is a municipality in the northern part of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The city has approximately 122,833 inhabitants (IBGE/2020) and an area of 1566.1 km². Barretos belongs to the Mesoregion of Ribeirão Preto. History The city was founded on August 25, 1854. The first chapel was built in 1856, where today lies the "Praça Francisco Barreto". Bebedouro
Bebedouro is a municipality in the state of São Paulo (state), São Paulo in Brazil. The population is 77,555 (2020 est.) in an area of . The elevation is . The distance from São Paulo city is about 390 km. The foundation of the city took place on May 3, 1884. The name comes from a stream used by cowboys in the 19th century for stopping and taking water. The city grew because of coffee, and, today, it is famous because of orange cultivation and orange juice factories. The municipality contains 3 districts: Bebedouro (the main district), Botafogo (2,000 inhabitants) and Turvínea (1,000 inhabitants).
