SIHH
Watches and Wonders (formerly Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, SIHH) is a trade show of the international watch and jewelry industry. It is organized by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) and takes place at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland. Mainly attended by Richemont group brands, the SIHH is considered as one of the major shows for luxury watches along with Baselworld. Watches and Wonders was scheduled for 25-29 April 2020 but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and converted to an online format. History Established in 1991, the SIHH was a deliberate attempt by Cartier, along with Baume & Mercier, Piaget, Gérald Genta and Daniel Roth, to create a more exclusive trade show dedicated to fine watchmaking. SIHH 2019, which was held from January 14 - 17, 2019, attracted over 23,000 visitors and journalists. Richard Mille is a Swiss luxury watch company founded in 2001 by Dominique Guenat and Richard Mille, and based in Les Breuleux, Switzerland. The brand specialises in ultra-high-end luxury watches. Baselworld
Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Show is a global trade show of the international watch, jewellery and gem industry, organized each spring in the city of Basel, Switzerland, at the Messeplatz. The last Baselworld was held March 21–26, 2019. In 2020 and 2021 the event was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2022 event has been cancelled as well. Baselworld is part of MCH Group, which organizes around 30 live marketing platforms in Switzerland and abroad, including Art Basel in Basel, Miami Beach and Hong Kong. Gérald Genta
Gérald Charles Genta (1 May 1931 – 17 August 2011) was a Swiss watch designer and artist. He is known for his eponymous line of timepieces as well as his design work with other high-end watch manufacturers, including IWC, Omega SA, Universal Genève, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. Christie's auction house of New York has called Genta's work ''"the Fabergé of watches"'', while ''The Wall Street Journal'' has called them the ''"world's most complicated and pricey watches"''. Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair
The Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair is a timepiece trade show held annually in Hong Kong. It is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd., and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries Ltd. The fair showcases both Hong Kong and international labels, and also serves a platform for participants to exchange information and market intelligence. The five-day-long trade fair is opened every year in the beginning of September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Special highlights of the fair include Brand Name Gallery, an attractive setting for fashionable timepieces by top brands, and Pageant of Eternity, designed to highlight the beauty and craftsmanship of watches at the high end of the spectrum.
