Søren Hansen
Søren Hansen (born 21 March 1974) is a Danish professional golfer. Hansen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He won the 1997 Danish Amateur Stroke Play Championship and turned professional later that year. Hansen collected his first professional win at the Challenge Tour's 1998 Navision Open Golf Championship in his home country. Since 1999 he has been a member of the European Tour where he has picked up two tournament victories. He won the 2002 Murphy's Irish Open, where he won at the fourth extra hole in a play-off against Richard Bland, Niclas Fasth and Darren Fichardt. He also won the 2007 Mercedes-Benz Championship by a margin of four strokes. His best Order of Merit finish is 8th in 2007. He represented Europe in the 2008 Ryder Cup matches, but he did not win a match, the U.S. was victorious. The World Cup of Golf is a men's golf tournament contested by teams of two representing their country. Only one team is allowed from each country. David Smail (born 20 May 1970) is a professional golfer from New Zealand. He was born in and resides in Hamilton, New Zealand. He won the New Zealand Open in 2001. Michael Campbell
Michael Shane Campbell (born 23 February 1969) is a New Zealand professional golfer who is best known for having won the 2005 U.S. Open and, at the time, the richest prize in golf, the £1,000,000 HSBC World Match Play Championship, in the same year. He played on the European Tour and the PGA Tour of Australasia. Early life, amateur career Campbell was born in Hāwera, Taranaki. Ethnically, he is predominantly Māori, from the Ngāti Ruanui (father's side) and Ngā Rauru (mother's side) iwi. Thomas Bjørn
Thomas Bjørn (born 18 February 1971) is a professional golfer from Denmark who plays on the European Tour. He is the most successful Danish golfer to have played the game having won fifteen tournaments worldwide on the European Tour. In 1997 he also became the first Dane to qualify for a European Ryder Cup team. He captained the winning European side at the 2018 Ryder Cup. 2001 WGC-World Cup
The 2001 WGC-World Cup took place 15–18 November at the Taiheiyo Club, Gotemba Course in Gotemba, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was the 47th World Cup and the second as a World Golf Championship event. 24 countries competed and each country sent two players. The prize money totaled $3,000,000 with $1,000,000 going to the winning pair. The South African team of Ernie Els and Retief Goosen won in a sudden-death playoff over teams from Denmark, New Zealand and the United States. Euan Little
Euan Little (born 28 April 1976) is a Scottish professional golfer. Career Little turned professional in 1996 having represented Scotland as an amateur. Having reached the final stage of qualifying school that year, he played qualified for the Challenge Tour and played steadily at that level for the next five seasons, finishing runner-up twice, before claiming his first win in 2001 at the Segura Viudas Challenge de España. At the end of 2001 Little returned to the qualifying school and gained a place on the European Tour for 2002. The 1998 Challenge Tour was a series of golf tournaments known as the Challenge Tour, the official development tour run by the PGA European Tour. The tour was started as the Satellite Tour in 1986 and was renamed the Challenge Tour ready for the start of the 1990 season. The Challenge Tour Rankings were won by England's Warren Bennett. Alastair Forsyth
Alastair Forsyth (born 5 February 1976) is a Scottish professional golfer. Amateur career Forsyth was born in Glasgow, Scotland and grew up supporting Rangers. He was a member of a winning Great Britain & Ireland Jacques Léglise Trophy team in 1994 and he won the 1996 Scottish Amateur Stroke Play Championship. Professional career Forsyth turned professional in 1998.
