Søren Hald Møller (born 25 January 1960 in Copenhagen) was the High Commissioner of Greenland. He has a master's degree in social science from Aalborg University, which he received in 1984. He is married to Tukummeq Qaavigaq. In 2007 he became a Knight of the Dannebrog. Peter Lauritzen (born 8 December 1959 in Århus) is a Danish civil servant. He was the fourth High Commissioner of Greenland, and held the post from 1 April 2002 to 30 March 2005. Mikaela Engell
Mikaela Engell (born 4 October 1956) is a Danish civil servant who served as High Commissioner of Greenland, a post she has held from 2011 to 2022. She had previously worked in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, first as a Permanent Secretary and later as a counselor. As High Commissioner, Engell had a seat in the Inatsisartut (parliament of Greenland), representing the Danish monarch and government, and can speak there, but not vote. The Order of the Dannebrog ( da, Dannebrogordenen) is a Danish order of chivalry instituted in 1671 by Christian V. Until 1808, membership in the order was limited to fifty members of noble or royal rank, who formed a single class known as ''White Knights'' to distinguish them from the ''Blue Knights'' who were members of the Order of the Elephant. In 1808, the Order was reformed and divided into four classes. The ''Grand Commander'' class is reserved to persons of princely origin. It is awarded only to royalty with close family ties with the Danish Royal House. The statute of the Order was amended in 1951 by a Royal Ordinance so that both men and women could be members of the Order. Frederikshavn () is a Danish town in Frederikshavn municipality, Region Nordjylland, on the northeast coast of the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. Its name translates to "Frederik's harbor".
