Lier, Norway
Lier is a municipality in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Lierbyen. The municipality of Lier was established on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The area Åssiden was transferred from Lier to the neighboring municipality of Drammen on 1 July 1951. Norway's longest indoor shopping center, Liertoppen, is located in Lierskogen. The newspaper ''Lierposten'' is published in Lier. Harald Otto
Harald Otto (January 24, 1865 – May 13, 1928) was a Norwegian actor and theater director. Otto was born in Nes, Norway, the son of the stationmaster Hans Otto Hansen (1815–?) and Maren Paulsen (1832–?). He moved to the United States in 1886, and in 1890 he performed in the theater in Chicago, where he also married Ignatzia Johanna Osberg (1869–1945). He soon returned to Norway, where he worked in various theater groups from 1891 to 1900. He purchased the Central Theater in 1907 and he operated it until his death, with Torolf Voss serving as the theater's orchestra director. After Harald Otto's death, his son Reidar Otto took over the business. The theater remained in the Otto family until 1959. Drammen
Drammen () is a city and municipality in Viken (county), Viken, Norway. The port and river city of Drammen is centrally located in the south-eastern and most populated part of Norway. Drammen municipality also includes smaller towns and villages such as Konnerud, Svelvik, Mjøndalen and Skoger. Location Drammen is located west of the Oslofjord and is situated approximately 44 km South-west of Oslo. Oslo City Museum (''Oslo Bymuseum'') is a department of Oslo Museum in Oslo, Norway. The museum is located at Frogner Manor (''Frogner Hovedgård'') in Frogner Park (''Frognerparken''). Eidé Norena
Karoline "Kaja" Eide Hansen, known professionally as Eidé Norena (April 26, 1884 – November 13, 1968) was a Norwegian soprano. Born in Horten, Norena studied in Oslo, Weimar, London, and Paris; her teachers included Ellen Gulbranson and Raimund von zur-Mühlen, and she received advice as well from Nellie Melba. She began her career as a concert singer before making her stage debut in '' Orfeo ed Euridice'' in Oslo. Soon thereafter she auditioned for Arturo Toscanini, who hired her to sing at La Scala. She sang at the Royal Opera House for several seasons, and from 1933 to 1938 she appeared at the Metropolitan Opera, bowing there in ''La bohème'' on February 9, 1933. Vestre Gravlund
Vestre Gravlund is a cemetery in the Frogner borough of Oslo, Norway. It is located next to the Borgen metro station. At , it is the largest cemetery in Norway. It was inaugurated in September 1902 and also contains a crematorium (''Vestre krematorium'') and chapel (''Gravkapellet''). The grave chapel was constructed in granite and clay stone and was designed by architect Alfred Christian Dahl (1857–1940). It was built in 1900 and consecrated in 1902.
