Sylvester Namo
Sylvester Namo (born 26 August 2000) is a Papua New Guinean professional rugby league footballer who plays as a forward for the Castleford Tigers in the Super League. He represents Papua New Guinea at international level and played at the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. He has previously played for the PNG Hunters and Townsville Blackhawks in the Queensland Cup. He has spent time on dual registration from Castleford at Newcastle Thunder in League 1. Goroka
Goroka is the capital of the Eastern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea. It is a town of approximately 19,000 people (2000), above sea level. It has an airport (in the centre of town) and is on the "Highlands Highway", about 285 km from Lae in Morobe province and 90 km from the nearby town of Kainantu also in the Eastern Highlands. The 2021 Rugby League World Cup (RLWC2021) was a collection of world cups in the sport of rugby league, held in England from 15 October to 19 November 2022. Craig Lingard (born 11 December 1977) is an English rugby league coach and former professional rugby league footballer who is the head coach of the Castleford Tigers in the Super League. Lingard played as a for the Batley Bulldogs in the Championship, where he is the all-time leading try scorer. He has previously been head coach of the Bramley Buffaloes. He was assistant coach to John Kear at Batley before taking on the top job at the Keighley Cougars in Betfred League 1. He returned to Batley as head coach for the 2020 season.
