Syed Samsuddin Ahmed is a prominent academic from Bangladesh. He is the founder vice chancellor of Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science & Technology University (BSFMSTU). Rajshahi District ( bn, রাজশাহী জেলা) is a district in mid-western Bangladesh. It is a part of the Rajshahi Division. The metropolitan city of Rajshahi is in Rajshahi District. Jadavpur University is a public state university located in Jadavpur, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Barapukuria Coal Mining Company Limited () is a Bangladesh government owned coal mining company. Engineer Md. Kamruzzaman Khan is the managing director of the company. Nazmul Ahsan is the chairman of the board of directors of the company. History In 1985, the Geological Survey of Bangladesh discovered Barapukuria coal mine in Dinajpur District. Wardell Armstrong carried out a feasibility study on the mine.
