Syed Hasan (writer)
Syed Hasan (1 January 1908 18 November 1988) was an Indian writer, scholar and professor of Persian language and literature from Patna, Bihar. He was a great scholar "steeped into Persian". He headed the Persian Department of Patna University from 1972 to 1978. In 1954–55, he was awarded a scholarship under the Government of India Foreign Languages Scholarships Scheme for Studying in Iran. Syed Ali Hasan
Khan Bahadur Syed Ali Hasan was the captain of the ' MAO College Cricket Club', Superintendent of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police and Inspector-General of Police in India. In 1930, he was knighted with the title of Khan Bahadur by British India. Biography He completed his BA from Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College, Aligarh in 1902. During student life, he played cricket and remained the Captain of the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College Cricket team for three consecutive years from 1899–1902. In his professional and administrative life, he became the Superintendent of Police (India) and then Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG). He retired as DIG from Farrukhabad. After retirement, he was reemployed and appointed as Inspector-General of Police (IG) in Gwalior. In 1930, he was knighted with the title of Khan Bahadur by British India. He died in 1962 at Lucknow. Syed Hamidul Hasan is a Shia scholar from Lucknow, India. He is also the current principal of Jamia Nazmia. Education He completed his education from Jamia Nazmia up to Mumtaz-ul-Afazil and was taught by Syed Ahmad Ali (son of Mohammad Abbas) along with other learned teachers. After finishing his studies at Madrasatul Waizeen and completing different oriental courses from Lucknow University, Shia Arabic College and Aligarh Muslim University, he went to Najaf, Najaf-e-Ashraf, Iraq, for higher education. Syed Mir Hassan
Syed Mir Hassan was an Indian Sunni scholar of the Qur'an, Hadith, Sufism, and the Arabic language. He was a professor of Arabic at Scotch Mission College in Sialkot and was awarded the title of ''Shams al-’Ulama’'' ("Sun of the Scholars") by the British Crown. Mir Hassan is best known as the teacher of the philosopher-poet Muhammad Iqbal and the poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz. He was also the paternal uncle of the Pakistani journalist Syed Nazeer Niazi and was affiliated with Sir Syed Ahmed Khan's rationalist school of Islamic modernism. Early life Born on 18 April 1844. Syed Munawar Hasan ( ur, سید منور Øسن; 5 January 194026 June 2020) was a Pakistani politician who served as the 4th Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami from 2009 to 2014. He was a elected as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from Karachi in 1977. Early life and career Munawar Hasan was born in Delhi, British India on 5 August 1941. During the partition of India, he migrated with his family and settled in Karachi. He obtained a Master's degree in sociology in 1963 and in Islamic Studies in 1966 from the University of Karachi. Hasan became the Karachi president of the National Students Federation in 1959. Syed Shamsul Hasan (1882– 7 November 1981) was a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League and before independence of All India Muslim League. Life Syed Shamsul Hasan joined the staff of the All India Muslim League (AIML) in July 1914 as Assistant Secretary, and after a short while he took over charge of party’s central office as Secretary.
