Syed Hasan (writer)
Syed Hasan (1 January 1908 18 November 1988) was an Indian writer, scholar and professor of Persian language and literature from Patna, Bihar. He was a great scholar "steeped into Persian". He headed the Persian Department of Patna University from 1972 to 1978. In 1954–55, he was awarded a scholarship under the Government of India Foreign Languages Scholarships Scheme for Studying in Iran. Syed Ali Hasan
Khan Bahadur Syed Ali Hasan was the captain of the ' MAO College Cricket Club', Superintendent of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police and Inspector-General of Police in India. In 1930, he was knighted with the title of Khan Bahadur by British India. Biography He completed his BA from Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College, Aligarh in 1902. During student life, he played cricket and remained the Captain of the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College Cricket team for three consecutive years from 1899–1902. In his professional and administrative life, he became the Superintendent of Police (India) and then Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG). He retired as DIG from Farrukhabad. Syed Hamidul Hasan is a Shia scholar from Lucknow, India. He is also the current principal of Jamia Nazmia. Education He completed his education from Jamia Nazmia up to Mumtaz-ul-Afazil and was taught by Syed Ahmad Ali (son of Mohammad Abbas) along with other learned teachers. Syed Mir Hassan
Syed Mir Hassan was an Indian Sunni scholar of the Qur'an, Hadith, Sufism, and the Arabic language. He was a professor of Arabic at Scotch Mission College in Sialkot and was awarded the title of ''Shams al-’Ulama’'' ("Sun of the Scholars") by the British Crown. Mir Hassan is best known as the teacher of the philosopher-poet Muhammad Iqbal and the poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz. Syed Munawar Hasan ( ur, سید منور حسن; 5 January 194026 June 2020) was a Pakistani politician who served as the 4th Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami from 2009 to 2014. Syed Shamsul Hasan (1882– 7 November 1981) was a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League and before independence of All India Muslim League.
