Arjan Swinkels (born 15 October 1984) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Belgian club Esperanza Pelt. Club career Swinkels made his Eredivisie debut against Roda JC, 18 September 2005. The following season, Swinkels was mostly on the bench, but in the Spring, he began playing regularly. In the last round, he saved a ball on the goalline, which meant that Willem II was safe of relegation. In the new season, Swinkels began playing as centre-back instead of injured Delano Hill. Johannes Franciscus Swinkels
J.F. (Johannes) Swinkels (1851–1950) was an important person of the Dutch brewing industry. He was the fourth generation of Swinkels family running a brewery in the Dutch village of Lieshout, North Brabant. When he took over the brewery in 1884 he started its transformation from a local brewery into a worldwide but still family owned company with annual production of five hundred million litres of beer. Nowadays Bavaria is the second largest brewery in the Netherlands and Johannes is considered to be the founding father of its present-day success. Ruud Swinkels (born 23 February 1987) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Esperanza Pelt in the Belgian fifth-tier Belgian Division 3.
