Swimming With Sharks Records is an independent record label founded in Dallas, Texas by drummer Noah "Shark" Robertson in 2011. On July 28, 2011, the label released the 'Oklahoma' EP from the band Commotio Cordis, out of Oklahoma City. On July 31, 2011, in conjunction with the Total Deathcore company, the label released 4 tracks off the 'Fragments' album from the band, Swimming With Sharks from Coffs Harbour, Australia. Noah Robertson
Noah "Shark" Robertson (born July 28, 1983) is an American drummer, comedian, and writer. He is one of the founding members of The Browning. He was also the drummer of Motograter from 2013 to 2017. Robertson is currently the drummer for Jeffrey Nothing, former vocalist and founding member of Mushroomhead. In July 2011, he founded Swimming With Sharks Records. The label roster includes Eye of the Enemy (Australia) and Hellbent, among other acts from around the world. Past artists include Mouth Of The Serpent, Aechoes, Laconic, Blindfolded and Led To the Woods, among others. On August 29, 2016 Robertson launched Zombie Shark Records and announced his first signings as Keychain from Montreal and Darkc3ll from Australia. Threat Signal is a Canadian heavy metal band from Hamilton, Ontario. The band has had numerous lineup changes, with only Jon Howard remaining from the original incarnation. Their music is often classified as metalcore, melodic death metal, groove metal and industrial metal. Biography Early years (2003–2005) Threat Signal was formed in the summer of 2003 by cousins Jon and Rich Howard. Shortly after, they recruited local guitarist Kyle McKnight and began writing and recording music and posted their demo for the song "Rational Eyes" on an international metal chart on GarageBand.com. Nintendocore is a broadly defined style of music that most commonly fuses chiptune and video game music with hardcore punk and/or heavy metal.
