All Shall Perish was an American deathcore band from Oakland, California, formed in 2002. The band was signed to Nuclear Blast and have released four full-length albums through the label. Their final album, ''This Is Where It Ends,'' was released on July 26, 2011. All Shall Perish are noted for being one of the earliest pioneering bands in the deathcore genre. History Formation and Nuclear Blast signing (2002–2008) All Shall Perish was founded in 2002 from the former members of the San Francisco Bay Area bands Antagony, End of All, and Boof. The founding members were Matt Kuykendall, Ben Orum, Mike Tiner, Caysen Russo, and Craig Betit. The band released their demo in 2003 and caught the attention of Japanese label Amputated Vein Records. Awaken The Dreamers
''Awaken the Dreamers'' is the third studio album by American deathcore band All Shall Perish. It was released on September 5, 2008 through Nuclear Blast. It sold just under 5,000 copies in its first week of release entering the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 at number 126. The album is notable for including clean vocals in tracks such as the title track and "Memories of a Glass Sanctuary", something that is rare in deathcore. The tracks "When Life Meant More...", "Never... Again", "Awaken the Dreamers", and "Stabbing to Purge Dissimulation" have been added to the band's official MySpace page. Rusty Cooley plays two guitar solos on the track "From So Far Away" and Cam Pipes performs guest vocals on "Black Gold Reign". Straight Line Stitch
Straight Line Stitch is an American metalcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee. History Straight Line Stitch initially was formed by Patrick Haynes and Seth Thacker in 1999 and issued an EP and a demo album before adding vocalist Alexis Brown from Clarksville, Tennessee to the band in 2003. Brown sang on their self-released 2006 effort ''To Be Godlike'' and then on an EP entitled ''The Word Made Flesh'' for which they filmed a video for the single "Remission". The video's director, Dale Resteghini, owned the production company Raging Nation Films; in 2007 he formed a subsidiary label of Koch Records called Raging Nation Records, and Straight Line Stitch became the label's first signing. Machine Head is an American heavy metal band from Oakland, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Robb Flynn, who remains the only original member of the band. Machine Head's aggressive musicianship made it one of the pioneering bands in the new wave of American heavy metal. The Mayhem Festival was a touring Heavy metal music, heavy metal festival that took place during the summer. The inaugural season took place in 2008; the festival later became an annual event across the United States. Most years also included a single date in either Montreal or Toronto, Canada. The tour had been sponsored by the Rockstar (drink), Rockstar Energy Company since the time of its inception. It was assembled by Warped Tour, Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman and John Reese (who was Lyman's partner on the Taste of Chaos tour).
