Zoltán Verrasztó
Zoltán Verrasztó (born 15 March 1956 in Budapest) is a former backstroke and medley swimmer from Hungary. He won two medals at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Soviet Union. Verrasztó claimed silver in the men's 200 m backstroke, and bronze in the men's 400 m individual medley. Apart from that he twice became world champion in the 200 m backstroke during the 1970s. His children, Evelyn Verrasztó and Dávid Verrasztó Dávid Verrasztó (born 22 August 1988) is a Hungarian competitive swimmer. Oleksandr Sydorenko
236px, Sidorenko in 1980 on Moscow Olympics Oleksandr Sydorenko (27 May 1960 – 20 February 2022), also known as Aleksandr Sidorenko, was an individual medley swimmer from the USSR. He won the 400 m individual medley at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Career Sydorenko won a gold medal at the 1981 European Aquatics Championships in Split, and at the 1982 World Aquatics Championships in Guayaquil in the 200-metre individual medley. At the 1983 Summer Universiade in Edmonton, he won a silver medal in the 200-metre individual medley. Between 1977 and 1986 he became the USSR champion 20 times. Sydorenko won the 400 m individual medley at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. He worked from 1987 to 2014 as the manager of the water polo team "Ilyichevets." After retirement he worked as a volunteer in the water Polo Federation of the city of Mariupol. Steven Garrett Gregg (born November 3, 1955) is an American former competition swimmer. He won silver medals in the 200 m butterfly event at the 1976 Olympics, 1975 Pan American Games, and 1973 and 1978 world championships. Nicholas Nevid (born 1960) is a retired world-champion American swimmer. He is now a physiologist with a strong interest in marine biology. Nick grew up in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. His sister is Nancy Nevid Kryka, a member of the Minnesota Masters Swimming Hall of Fame. His brother is the medal-winning triathlete Nathan "Nate" Nevid.
