Sweet Soul Music (London Boys Song)
"Sweet Soul Music" is a single by the Europop duo London Boys which also featured Soul Kitchen. The single was written and produced by Ralf René Maué, and was the first since the duo's rise to fame not to be released in the UK. The single had a promotional music video created to support the track. This became the last promo video for the duo although there was a video for 1995 single "Gospel Train to London" which was released under the name The New London Boys, despite being the same duo. London Boys
London Boys were a German-based United Kingdom, British dance-pop Musical duo, duo composed of Edem Ephraim (1 July 1959, London, UK – 21 January 1996) and Dennis Fuller (19 June 1959, Jamaica – 21 January 1996). They are best remembered for the UK Top 5 hits "Requiem (London Boys song), Requiem" and "London Nights (song), London Nights". The duo were killed when their car was hit by a drunk driver in the Eastern Alps, Austria, on 21 January 1996. ''Sweet Soul Music'' is the second studio album by the London Boys, a British dance pop duo. It was released in 1991 and reached number 22 in Austria. It did not chart in the UK, unlike the previous album The Twelve Commandments Of Dance. Teldec (Telefunken-Decca Schallplatten GmbH) is a German record label in Hamburg, Germany. Today the label is a property of Warner Music Group. History Teldec was a producer of (first) shellac and (later) vinyl records. The Teldec manufacturing facility was located in Nortorf near Kiel in Germany. The company was founded in 1950 as a co-operation between Telefunken and Decca Records. The name Teldec is the result of taking the first three letters of both labels: Telefunken and Decca. Records manufactured by Teldec mostly were released under the Telefunken or Decca label, but normally these records contained no hint that they were made by Teldec. In 1983, Telefunken and Decca pulled out of Teldec and in 1987 Teldec was sold to Time Warner. In 1997, the remaining compact-disc production facility in Nortorf was to be closed by Time Warner, but after a management buyout, the new company OK Media, continued CD production.
