Sweet Baby James & Rob Eyers were a blues duo from Adelaide, Australia, made up of James Meston (guitar/vocals) and Rob Eyers (drums/percussion). James Meston
James Meston (born 1975) is an Australian, Adelaide-based radio producer, announcer and podcaster. He has produced and co-announced the 'Arch D Radio' show on 1079 Life FM since 2011, and produced a number of series of podcasts related to Catholic education and Catholic spirituality since 2019. From 1993 to 2017 he was a blues guitarist with the stage name "Sweet Baby James", who was named as Official Ambassador of the 2007 Australian Blues Festival. He has played onstage with Jeff Healey and Sue Foley. The Mess Hall were a two-piece drums and guitar combo based in Sydney, Australia, specialising in "raw, edgy bluesy rock." Juke joint (also jukejoint, jook house, jook, or juke) is the vernacular term for an informal establishment featuring music, dancing, gambling, and drinking, primarily operated by African Americans in the southeastern United States. A juke joint may also be called a "barrelhouse". The Jook was the first secular cultural arena to emerge among African American Freedmen. Christopher John Wilson (2 December 1956 – 16 January 2019) was an Australian blues musician who sang and played harmonica, saxophone and guitar. He performed as part of the Sole Twisters, Harem Scarem and Paul Kelly and the Coloured Girls, and fronted his band Crown of Thorns. Wilson's solo albums are ''Landlocked'' (June 1992), ''The Long Weekend'' (March 1998), ''Spiderman'' (2000), ''King for a Day'' (July 2002), ''Flying Fish'' (2012) and the self titled ''Chris Wilson'' (2018). In March 1996, Wilson collaborated with Johnny Diesel in a blues project, Wilson Diesel, which issued an album, '' Short Cool Ones'', composed mostly of "soul and R&B standards".
