Swansea Senior League
The Swansea Senior Association Football League or Swansea Senior League, is a league competition featuring non-professional association football clubs in the area of Swansea, south Wales. The league consists of seven divisions, three for "first teams" and four for "reserves" and lower teams. The top division, Division One is just below West Wales Premier League, and therefore sits at level 5 of the Welsh football pyramid. History Formed in 1901 as the ''Swansea Junior League'', the first organised league in the Swansea area launched a Senior League in 1903–04, followed in 1904–05 by a name change to the ''Swansea & District League''. The league was suspended during World War I. During the 1921–22 and 1922–23 seasons, the league expanded to include a Gower Division and a Neath Division. West Wales Premier League
The West Wales Premier League (known for sponsorship reasons as ''The Macron West Wales Premier League'') is a football league in Wales, at tier 4 of the Welsh Football Pyramid in South West Wales under the control of the West Wales Football Association. The league consists of teams having their grounds and headquarters West of a line drawn from Briton Ferry, Neath, northwards to Glynneath, and then again northwards to the boundary line of the South Wales Football Association. It offers promotion opportunities to the Ardal Leagues, at tier 3 of the Football Association of Wales pyramid. Its inaugural season was due run in 2020–21 but was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. It is now due to start on 21 August 2021 with 11 clubs instead of the 12 planned for the 2020–21 season as Ystradgynlais were not part of the fixture list. Morriston Town A
Morriston (; cy, Treforys ) is a community in the City and County of Swansea, Wales and falls within the Morriston ward. It is the largest community in Swansea county. Morriston is sometimes referred to as a distinct town (e.g. the local football club is named Morriston Town A.F.C.), however it has never had a town charter, and is now part of the continuous urban sprawl around Swansea, the centre of which lies three miles to the south-west. Penlan is a suburban area of Swansea, Wales in the Penderry ward. The area is set on top of a hill, which overlooks Townhill, Kilvey Hill and Swansea Bay. Lee Trundle
Lee Christopher Trundle (born 10 October 1976) is an English footballer who plays as a striker for Cymru South side Ammanford. He also works as the club ambassador and youth team coach for Championship side Swansea City. Trundle's career began in the English non-league system, where he played for Burscough, Chorley, Stalybridge Celtic, Southport and Bamber Bridge, before signing for Welsh Premier League side Rhyl. He managed to net 15 goals in 18 matches for Rhyl, and his performances earned him a move to Football League side Wrexham in 2001. Trundle made a name for himself in professional football during a four-year spell for Swansea City, where he scored 78 goals in 146 appearances between 2003 and 2007.
