Sven Erik Bystrøm
Sven Erik Bystrøm (born 21 January 1992, in Haugesund) is a Norwegian road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He was the 2014 Under-23 World Road Race Champion. He signed with the Continental level in 2012. He signed for as a trainee from August 2014, with a full professional contract from 2015. He was named in the startlist for the 2016 Vuelta a España. He also started the 2017 Vuelta a Espana but crashed out with a broken shoulder on stage 7. In 2018, he joined on an initial two-year contract. In July 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Tour de France. Haugesund () is a municipality on the North Sea in Rogaland county, Norway. 2015 Tour Of Austria
The 2015 Tour of Austria is the 67th edition of the Tour of Austria cycling stage race. It started in Wien on 4 July with a team time trial prologue, and concluded in Bregenz on 12 July. Team Time Trial
A team time trial (TTT) is a road bicycle race in which teams of cyclists race against the clock (see individual time trial for a more detailed description of ITT events). The winning team in a TTT is determined by the comparing the times of (usually) the fourth-finishing rider in each team (though the relevant finish position can be otherwise specified in advance by the race organisers). This means that each team will try to get their first four (at least) riders across the finish line in a tight group: it is actually a disadvantage for any rider to finish far in advance of the fourth rider, as by staying back a faster rider can help the fourth rider to get a quicker time. Where a TTT is part of a stage race, it is necessary for each rider to be given a finish time that can be cumulated into the general classification timings. Ronde van Drenthe ( en, Tour of Drenthe) is an elite men's and women's professional road bicycle racing event held annually in the Drenthe, Netherlands and sanctioned by the Royal Dutch Cycling Union. 2014 UCI Road World Championships – Men's Under-23 Road Race
The Men's under-23 road race of the 2014 UCI Road World Championships took place in and around Ponferrada, Spain on 26 September 2014. The course of the race was with the start and finish in Ponferrada. Following on from countryman Kurt Asle Arvesen in 1997, Sven Erik Bystrøm became only the second Norwegian rider to win the world title. He made a late break on the final climb, with around remaining, and held off the peloton; he ultimately soloed to victory by seven seconds. Australia's Caleb Ewan won the field sprint for the silver medal, while Bystrøm's teammate Kristoffer Skjerping completed the podium with the bronze medal.
