Sven-Pelle Pettersson
Sven "Sven-Pelle" Pettersson (15 December 1911 – 6 January 2000) was a Swedish swimmer and water polo player who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics and in the 1936 Summer Olympics. In 1928 he was eliminated in the first round of the men's 100 m freestyle competition. As a member of the Swedish relay team he finished fifth in the men's 4 × 200 m freestyle relay event. Eight years later he was part of the Swedish water polo team which finished seventh in the water polo tournament. He played three matches. As a member of the Swedish relay team he finished eighth in the men's 4 × 200 m freestyle relay event. Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. The sport takes place in pools or open water (e.g., in a sea or lake). Water Polo
Water polo is a competitive team sport played in water between two teams of seven players each. The game consists of four quarters in which the teams attempt to score goals by throwing the ball into the opposing team's goal. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins the match. Each team is made up of six field players and one goalkeeper. Excluding the goalkeeper, players participate in both offensive and defensive roles. It is typically played in an all-deep pool where players cannot touch the bottom. A game consists mainly of the players swimming to move about the pool, treading water (mainly using the eggbeater kick), passing the ball, and shooting at the goal.
