Svein Scharffenberg
Svein Scharffenberg (21 June 1939 – 5 December 2017) was a Norwegian actor and stage director. He was born in Oslo. He started his acting career at Den Nationale Scene in the season 1967–1968, and was assigned with Nationaltheatret from the next season. He joined Hålogaland Teater from its establishment in 1971. He staged ''Sukkerbrød med kaviar'', written by Leonard Melfi, for Fjernsynsteatret in 1975. He staged the first production at Torshovteatret, Dahl's play ''Lever du'a Karlsen?'', in 1977. Among his film roles is the murderer in ''Bortreist på ubestemt tid'', and he played leading roles in ''Angst Angst is fear or anxiety ('' anguish'' is its Latinate equivalent, and the words ''anxious'' and ''anxiety'' are of similar origin). Cabin Fever (2000 Film)
''Cabin Fever'' ( no, Når nettene blir lange}) is a 2000 Norwegian drama film written and directed by Mona J. Hoel, starring Svein Scharffenberg and Gørild Mauseth. It was the first attempt in Norway at a Dogme film. The film portrays an extended family vacationing together in a cabin in the mountains, and the internal conflicts that emerge. Plot The film begins during Christmas in Norway. A family and all of their relatives decide to stay at a remote cabin to celebrate the holidays. Their Polish relatives join them. When they arrive the Polish relatives are annoyed that there is a lack of water and no electricity. As family arguments begin to break out, the film reveals the characters reasonings and grudges against one another. Secrets are revealed. One of the children has severe asthma problem which is made worse by the presence of a dog. The father, additionally, can't control his alcohol problem. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991). He was the older brother of politician Ingvar Lars Helle. The family moved to Hetland when Knut Helle was seventeen years old. He took the examen artium in Stavanger in 1949, and a teacher's education in Kristiansand in 1952. He studied philology in Oslo and Bergen, and graduated with the cand.philol. degree in 1957. Den Nationale Scene ( en, National Theater) is the largest theatre in Bergen, Norway. Den Nationale Scene is also one of the oldest permanent theatres in Norway. History Opened under the name '' Det Norske Theater'' in 1850, the theatre has roots dating back to its founding on the initiative of the Norwegian violinist Ole Bull. The theatre was created to develop Norwegian playwrights. Henrik Ibsen was one of the first writers-in-residences and art-directors of the theatre and it saw the première in Norway of his first contemporary realist drama ''The Pillars of Society'' (''Samfundets støtter'') on 30 November 1877.
