Suzuki GSX-RR
The Suzuki GSX-RR was a road racing motorcycle developed to race in the MotoGP series. Officially introduced on 30 September 2014 as the GSV-R replacement, it was developed by Suzuki since 2012. History Early development (2012–2013) Suzuki suspended its MotoGP activities at the end of 2011 season, citing the global economic crisis, but since 2012 a prototype was spotted testing in several occasions. Initially the prototype was dubbed GSV-R by the media, like its predecessor. In 2013 it started to take part in official tests, with Randy de Puniet and Nobuatsu Aoki as development and test riders. A wild card (also wildcard or wild-card and also known as an at-large berth or at-large bid) is a tournament or playoff berth awarded to an individual or team that fails to qualify in the normal way; for example, by having a high ranking or winning a qualifying stage. The 2007 French motorcycle Grand Prix was the fifth round of the 2007 MotoGP championship. It took place on the weekend of 18–20 May 2007 at the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit. Cal Crutchlow (born 29 October 1985) is an English professional motorcycle racer who retired from regular competition after the 2020 season. He is contracted as a test rider for Yamaha Motor Racing, which he is expected to continue in 2022 and 2023. During 2021 he returned to race for two Yamaha teams as a replacement rider in four MotoGP events, and will replace Andrea Dovizioso for the last six events of 2022 after Dovizioso's retirement announced mid-season. The 2015 Indianapolis motorcycle Grand Prix was the tenth round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana on 9 August 2015. In the MotoGP category, Marc Márquez took his fifth pole position of the season and ultimately took his third win of the season — and his fifth consecutive win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Márquez's victory was also the 700th victory in the Grand Prix history for the Honda brand. The 2015 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 67th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. The championship was won by Spanish rider Jorge Lorenzo, racing for Movistar Yamaha Factory. It was his third and final world title in the MotoGP category, his fifth overall in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. The season had 18 races, beginning in Qatar and finishing in Valencia, which determined who would be world champion between Movistar Yamaha teammates Lorenzo and runner-up Valentino Rossi. It was first time since 2006 that the world title was decided on the final race of the season.
