2015 Indianapolis Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2015 Indianapolis motorcycle Grand Prix was the tenth round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana on 9 August 2015. In the MotoGP category, Marc Márquez took his fifth pole position of the season and ultimately took his third win of the season — and his fifth consecutive win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Márquez's victory was also the 700th victory in the Grand Prix history for the Honda brand. Behind Márquez were the two Movistar Yamaha riders, Jorge Lorenzo, and Valentino Rossi; the podium was swept by these riders in the previous year. Further down the order, Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso started from tenth on the grid, but he went off track on the first lap. Speedway is a town in Wayne Township, Marion County, Indiana, United States. The population was 11,812 at the 2010 U.S. Census. 2015 Catalan Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2015 Catalan motorcycle Grand Prix was the seventh round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló on 14 June 2015. In the MotoGP category, Suzuki's Aleix Espargaró took the manufacturer's first pole position since returning to MotoGP, but he crashed out of the race with 5 laps remaining. Jorge Lorenzo took his fourth win in succession, ahead of Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa, who achieved his first podium of the season. Karel Abraham (born 2 January 1990) is a retired motorcycle racer from the Czech Republic. He competed in Grand Prix motorcycle racing from to , riding in the 125cc, 250cc, Moto2 and MotoGP classes, with the exception of 2016, when he raced in the Superbike World Championship. Antonio "Toni" Elías Justícia (born 26 March 1983) is a Spanish professional motorcycle racer and inaugural champion of the Moto2 World Championship. He is the third member of the Elías family to compete in motorcycle racing. Stefan Bradl (born 29 November 1989) is a German professional motorcycle racer. Bradl is best known for winning the Moto2 World Champion. Then he made the move to MotoGP in 2012 with LCR Honda. While in MotoGP, Bradl is best known for his performance at Laguna Seca getting the pole position and finishing second in the race behind Marc Marquez, ahead of Valentino Rossi. Forward Racing is a motorcycle racing team competing in the Moto2 World Championship. History The team started competing in the MotoGP class as the Hayate Racing Team, a scaled down version of the Kawasaki factory team that withdrew from MotoGP for the championship due to the Great Recession. Cal Crutchlow (born 29 October 1985) is an English professional motorcycle racer who retired from regular competition after the 2020 season. He is contracted as a test rider for Yamaha Motor Racing, which he is expected to continue in 2022 and 2023.
