Surviliškis Eldership ( lt, Surviliškio seniūnija) is a Lithuanian eldership, located in the northern part of Kėdainiai District Municipality. Eldership was created from the Surviliškis ''selsovet'' in 1993. Elderships Of Lithuania
A ''seniūnija'' (in English: eldership, elderate, ward, parish, or subdistrict) is the smallest administrative division of Lithuania. An eldership may comprise a very small region consisting of few villages, one single town, or a part of a big city. Elderships vary in size and population depending on their location and nature. A few elderships make up a municipality. Šilainiai (Kaunas) and Dainava (Kaunas) are the most populous elderates, with population counts over , exceeding the population of some entire municipalities. Elderships manage small-scale local matters, such as repairing pavements and dirt roads, and keep records on all families living in the eldership. The premise of the concept is that - unlike in higher administrative divisions - an elder (the leader of the eldership) could have time to talk to every person in the eldership who wants to. Berželė
Berželė (formerly pl, Berżałka, russian: Бержалка) is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village has a population of 47 people. Geography Berželė is located 3 km to the South from town of Surviliškis, near the road which connects Kėdainiai and Krekenava. Kruostas Botanical Sanctuary
The Kruostas is a river of Kėdainiai district municipality, Kaunas County, central Lithuania. It flows for and has a basin area of . It originates near Alksnėnai village and goes through agriculture fields passing Žilvičiai, Šlapaberžė, Beržai, Daškoniai. The lower course goes through a deep valley beside Vaidatoniai hillfort. This area is Kruostas botanic sanctuary. The river meets the Nevėžis from the right side near Urbeliai village. Vaidatoniai pond is on the Kruostas river. Krekenava Regional Park
Krekenava Regional Park ( lt, Krekenavos regioninis parkas) is regional park in central Lithuania, mostly in the southern part of Panevėžys District Municipality (a small part in Kėdainiai District Municipality). It was established in 1992 and covers the area of . Krekenava Regional Park encompasses the Nevėžis river middle course and various culture and nature monuments amongst Krekenava, Ramygala and Surviliškis towns. Nature 43% of the territory is covered by forests (the main forested area is Pašiliai Forest). There are some old oak groves. 1019 plant species are detected in the park, 31 of them are protected. Kruostas II
The Kruostas is a river of Kėdainiai district municipality, Kaunas County, central Lithuania. It originates next to Pakruostė, then runs to the Southeast for till discharges into the Nevėžis river (from the right side) near Kalnaberžė village. Kalnaberžė hillfort stands at the confluence of the Kruostas and Nevėžis. The river passes through Pakruostėlė, Berželė and Kalnaberžė villages.
