Surve( सुर्वे) is a Maratha warrior clan from India. A family belonging to the Surve clan held the jagir of Shringarpur. According to their lore, their ancestor was Shyam Singh (also known as Ajit Singh), a Rajput from Udaipur. In 14th century, he came to Deogiri, where he served the Yadava dynasty. Later, he changed his alliance to the Bahmani Sultanate, and was given the Shringarpur jagir. He was also given the title "Shurvir", which later got corrupted to "Surve". Manya Surve
Manohar Arjun Surve (8 August 1944 – 11 January 1982), popularly known as Manya Surve, was an Indian Underworld Don in Bombay. He was one of the educated gangsters who graduated from college and very well known for challenging and defeating existing Gangs. Surve was known for his daredevilry and strategic planning. Narayan Gangaram Surve (15 October 1926 – 16 August 2010 ) was a Marathi poet from Maharashtra, India. Life and career He was born on 15 October 1926. Orphaned or abandoned soon after birth, he grew up in the streets of Mumbai, sleeping on the pavement and earning a meager livelihood by doing odd jobs. He taught himself to read and write, and in 1962, published his first collection of poems ''Aisa Ga Mi Brahma'' (ऐसा गा मी ब्रह्म ; ''Aisa Ga Mi Brahma''). Daulatabad Fort, also known as Devagiri Fort or Deogiri Fort, is a historic fortified citadel located in Daulatabad village near Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. Udaipur State
Kingdom of Mewar, sometimes known as Udaipur State, was ruled by the Sisodia dynasty. It was an independent kingdom in Rajputana region of India. Seuna (Yadava) Dynasty
The Seuna, Sevuna, or Yadavas of Devagiri (IAST: Seuṇa, –1317) was a Medieval Indian dynasty, which at its peak ruled a kingdom stretching from the Narmada river in the north to the Tungabhadra river in the south, in the western part of the Deccan region. Its territory included present-day Maharashtra, North Karnataka and parts of Madhya Pradesh, from its capital at Devagiri (present-day Daulatabad in modern Aurangabad district, Maharashtra).
