Super League Darts (Germany)
2015 SKYCITY Super League Darts is a darts tournament featuring New Zealand's top eight darts players. The event will be held at the SKYCITY Convention Centre in Auckland, New Zealand, for four nights over July and August. This is the second year of the Tournament and the first that SKYCITY has been the naming rights sponsor. The final will be the first live televised darts tournament ever in New Zealand when it runs on Saturday 1 August.http://www.superleaguedarts.com Players The 2015 players were announced in a press release on May 19, 2015. Rob Szabo
Robert "Rob" Szabo (born 29 October 1965 from Wellington) is a former professional darts player from New Zealand. Career Szabo claimed the 2010 New Zealand National Championship by beating Koha Kokiri 4–0 in the final. He qualified for the 2014 PDC World Darts Championship after winning the New Zealand National Championship in July 2013. After beating England's Ian Moss 4–3 in the preliminary round he led Phil Taylor 1–0 in sets and 1–0 in legs before losing 3–1 in sets, in the first round. His performance received high praise from numerous darts pundits including Wayne Mardle, and from Taylor himself. In June, Szabo made his debut in the World Cup of Darts as he represented New Zealand with Craig Caldwell and they lost 5–3 to Spain in the first round. Mark McGrath (born July 15, 1968) is an English-born New Zealand professional darts player. Career McGrath qualified for the 2015 PDC World Darts Championship after winning the New Zealand Qualifier. He was whitewashed 4–0 by American Scott Kirchner in the preliminary round. In 2016, McGrath claimed the New Zealand Masters and Alan King Memorial titles. Cody Harris (darts Player)
Cody Harris (born 10 October 1985) is a former New Zealand darts player. Career Harris comes from a family of dartplayers. His father ran the ACDC Dart Club and Harris watched as a child his parents and other family members when they played. When Eric Bristow came to New Zealand for the WDF World Cup, Harris' father played against him and won. When Harris was around eight years old he for the first time threw a dart. When Harris was nine he won the A grade Championship for the Auckland Darts Association and he for the first time took part in the national championship when he was 13. Many national successes followed including the win in the 2015 Sydney Darts Masters Qualifier and the National Championship 2015. Warren "Wazza" Parry (born 9 January 1964) is a New Zealand professional darts player who played in the World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Parry is widely considered the greatest New Zealand player of all time. Career Parry reached the final of the 1999 WDF World Cup Men's Singles event, beating Marko Kantele in the last 16, Andy Fordham in the quarter-finals and fellow New Zealander Herbie Nathan in the semis before losing to Raymond van Barneveld 4–1. Craig Caldwell (born 20 January 1973) is a New Zealand professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. His major sponsors are SHOT, L-Style and Clearview Windows Limited. Career Caldwell topped the New Zealand regional table in the 2014/15 season to win a place in the preliminary round of the 2016 BDO World Darts Championship. He previously appeared in televised tournaments in the PDC, competing in the PDC World Cup of Darts in 2013 and 2014, as well as the Auckland Darts Masters, Perth and Sydney Darts masters in 2015. Peter Hunt (born 22 January 1965) is a former New Zealand professional darts player who played in the BDO/ WDF and PDC circuit. With multiple titles to his name, he was one of New Zealand's leading darts players. Career Hunt has played in four BDO World Darts Championships, first qualifying in 1993, the last unified World Championship before the infamous split in darts, losing 3–0 to Scotland's Ronnie Sharp.
