Super Cup 2022
The Del Monte Super Cup 2022 was the 27th edition of the event and the pre-season volleyball tournament of The SuperLega Credem Banca 2022–23. It was played from 31 October to 1 November 2022. After eleven years, the tournament returned to Sardinia. The edition of Super Cup is organized by SuperLega, together with the FIPAV Sardinia Regional Committee, the Sardinia Region and the Municipality of Cagliari. Rai Sprots and Volleyball World TV are TV partners to this tournament. Sir Safety Conad Perugia won their 4th title beating Cucine Lube Civitanova in intensive final with score 3–2. Oleh Plotnytskyi was named as the MVP. Format Four teams participate in single-elimination tournament. Venues Teams Top four teams from the last season are qualified to this tournament. 2022–23 Italian Cup
The Del Monte Italian Cup 2022–23 is the 45th edition of the tournament. The tournament is divided into two phases. Quarter finals started from 28 to 29 December 2022 while Final four will start on 25 to 26 February 2023. After eleven years, the Final four returns to Roma at the PalaEur. Format The top eight teams of Leg 1 from Regular season to take part in a knockout phase with the better ranked team as home teams. Semifinals
A single-elimination, knockout, or sudden death tournament is a type of elimination tournament where the loser of each match-up is immediately eliminated from the tournament. Lube Volley
Associazione Sportiva Volley Lube is a professional volleyball team based in Treia, Italy. Since 1995 the club has been playing in the Serie A of the Italian Volleyball League. It won the Italian Championship seven times, the Italian Cup five times, and the Italian SuperCup three-times. At European level, Lube won two CEV Champions League in 2002 and 2019, the CEV Cup in 2001, 2005, 2006 and a CEV Challenge Cup 2011. In 2019, it won the FIVB Men's Club World Volleyball Championship. Sir Safety Umbria Volley is a professional Italy, Italian volleyball club based in Perugia. It plays in the highest level of the Italian Volleyball League.
